These are so easy to use, a perfect tool for ensuring beginners (like me) get good results. I've made small batches of lacto fermented cucumbers, jalepenos, zucchini, and green tomatoes and all came out well with no sign of the white yeast that had been plaguing my pre-pickle pipe ferments. Great design - I love the simplicity of this airlock. Throw some vegetables and brine into a Mason jar, top with pickle pipe, and forget about it for a week. Foolproof.

These guys are awesome! My Kimchi bubbles quickly, especially in our wood heated house in winter. These silicone ferment lids are durable, easy to clean and hold really well under pressure while still allowing the ferment to off-gass. I have the expensive oxygen pump ones to, but honestly these guys work just as well and are much simpler in design. I find them easier to remove after they have been pressurized by the ferment process, while my air pump ones always lock up tighter then when I closed it. If these ones get super pressurized, they will slip free out of the ring rather then locking up. They are super simple to use to, just fill the jar, put the lid on top, and screw on your ring. These are a Game changer!

Great for pickling. These caps let the air out without letting air in. Unfortunately, they also let out juices so still important to keep a close eye on sauerkraut, etc.
