I bought this for my 13yo daughter who wanted to learn to sew. She loves it! It’s small so it’s easy for her to maneuver, but still sturdy, so I feel like, unless she decides to taking up sewing masts for ships, there’s not much she couldn’t do on this machine.It’s easy to use, but still has that “grown up” sewing machine feel. It does almost everything my big expensive one does, (I’ve even used it once or twice when I didn’t want to dig out my bigger machine!).She loves there purple and the fact that they’re accents and not the whole thing purple makes it feel less like a toy to her and made her feel “grown up”.The directions were easy to follow and get everything set up for her. The only downside I could find was that it came with black and white thread with matching, pre-wound bobbins, so if she wants to use a different color (such as borrow a color from me) she would either have to completely I unwind one of the bobbins or we’d have to go buy her some more. Not a big enough deal to mark this down any stars though. Enjoy!

This little sewing machine was purchased in September of 2020 to simply sew personal masks because my old Singer had just failed. While it worked passably in the beginning, by the end of October I was already having trouble with the stitch tension and needles bending and breaking. I am no beginner when it comes to sewing and should have known better. The return window closed right before these problems became irritating. Now, in December, the bobbin thread is extremely difficult to even pull up, and the forward sewing direction only proceeds to knot up the bobbin thread resulting in no completed stitching, constant knotting. I've tried different fabrics to no avail. I would not recommend this even to a beginner.Uodate: Contacted BTY They responded the very next day and are sending a replacement machine. We'll see how this one holds up. Thank goodness I bought the 4 year warranty.

This is a great little sewing machine for sewing on the go, or for beginners. I own two regular size Singer machines and this one will do all of the stitches those can, only slightly slower. The top speed is medium speed on a regular machine, which honestly worked out great bc it doesn't get away from me. I used it to sew a quilt while working from a hotel for a few weeks, and it worked great for that. I wouldn't necessarily quilt the top with it, but for sewing all of the blocks and binding and so forth, it's perfect. Recommend this machine for on-the-go and lightweight sewing projects.

The media could not be loaded. Works perfectly 98% of the time. Occasionally thread nests bundle under fabric if tension is off or the top thread flies loose. But I love the lavender color and light weight. It's adorable and I've only broken one needle after sewing 6 projects. I would give this to a beginner or someone advanced who needs a truly portable machine.

Esta máquina de coser es mucho más de lo que esperaba....creia que era un juguete. Yo la compre para elaborar cosas muy fáciles pero me di cuenta que esta pequeña máquina tiene la capacidad para hacer cosas mas grandes. Tiene mucha fuerza, es muy portátil, la puntada es excelente, no hace mucho ruido, no falla nunca, pude coser hasta 6 capas!!. Estoy gratamente sorprendido con esta compra y creo que ha sido una de las mejores. Con toda seguridad si que hay maquinas profesionales, costosas y muy pesadas, pero con esta maquina estoy seguro que podre resolver muchos problemas en la casa relacionado con telas y costuras. I liked that it ran on batteries, it allowed me to sew while on the boat.But, even when it is plugged in, it just doesn't have much power. 4 layers of lightweight fabric is too much for it. and denim? 2 layers is the limit.The other thing is that there is no bobbin tension, so on some lighter fabrics, you just won't be able to get a good stitch.The foot peddle is strange... There is a high and low switch on the machine for sewing, but the foot peddle doesn't use those. The foot peddle works when the switch is moved to off. Also the peddle doesn't move at "fast" or "slow" speed, it's somewhere in the middle.

It’s very hard to understand. It keeps eating my fabric and the instructions are very unclear. I worked return it but I lost the box.

I loved the ease of threading it, putting in the bobbin, it was like sewing on my old Kenmore, sized down! It might be for beginners, but this 67 yr old veteran sewing buff found it a pleasure!!

It is a nice looking product, but unfortunately got broken in a couple of days. I would not recommend it. It is pity that now Amazon became a representative office of Aliexpress. Few years ago we could buy a very exclusive things from Amazon, made in Europe or USA. Now, whatever we get, is pure China and most of the things have such a bad quality, but too high price.

Tres décevant car le manuel d'instruction seulement en anglais ,pourtant je ne doit pas etre la seule francophone qui a achetée ce produit ,seriez -vous dépourvu d'informations si ont vous aurais envoyez les instructions seulement en francais ??? Fachée de cette situation...

Unfortunately it wasn't working properly. So I needed to return it. Thanks goodness I didn't need to pay anything extra and I could get my money back. I won't buy it again = , (

I bought this for paper crafts - apparently does not have a fixable timer mechanism- the technician told me it would cost more to fix than the machine cost and no guarantee how long it would last! Loved it when it worked but would not recommend.

It stopped stitching together once I changed the thread. changed the settings and still doesn't work.
