Love this brush
Maybe it means I’m getting old, but I love this scrub brush haha! Works well, it’s very sturdy and well made, and it rinses clean with just a dot of dish soap when you’re done. I use it on cast iron and my wooden cutting boards and it works great on both

This is the way for cast iron, if you're willing to learn how!
I've tried the scrapers, tried the kosher salt method, even tried the chain mail cleaner. This brush consistently cleans my cast iron skillet without removing the seasoning layer. Hot water and this brush - all you need. With a seasoned pan, I rarely have to "scrub" with this brush, and never have to press hard enough to break the brush! I've had my brush for two years, hasn't broken, but the bristles are started to get a little frayed and stiff, so I'm buying another today. If you go cast iron, you have to learn a new way to clean and maintain. Once you learn it, and have this brush, you'll be set. When finished cooking, keep the pan on heat, add some oil till it's hot, then with hot water running, add some water to the pan which will boil and sizzle, which breaks up food/residue in the pan, then use brush to relatively gently break up and grind away what's in the pan, then use the running hot water to wash it all away, then use a paper towel to dry out the pan and "spread around" that thin layer of oil that didn't completely wash away. **NOT washing away that remaining layer of oil is THE KEY to keeping that skillet seasoned. When I started doing it this way, I really started loving my cast iron because the seasoning layer never gets lost and just continues to become more bonded with each use. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BRUSH!

THIS IS THE PERFECT BRUSH FOR CLEANING MUSHROOMS!
I purchased this brush basically because it bore "Lodge" brand on the label. I figured since they are well know in the cast iron skillet business, their brush would be exactly what I need. Sadly, their brush does not meet my expectations. I was hoping for a brush a bit stiffer that would easily remove egg substances from the center and edges of my Lodge skillets. Also, the scraper edge might be better if it was straight and not curved. Perhaps, if my pans had 20 coats of seasoning, this brush might be perfect. But I have to work with what I have. On the plus side, this brush works well on non-stick cookware. But I already have a trusted brush for that which I prefer. At this point, I shall have to shop in person at a local kitchen goods store where I can personally look at and and feel reasonably stiff bristles on my hands from an inventory of brushes that should fill my needs. I should not have to scrape egg off my pans with my fingernails. Now upgrading my initial review from 3 stars to 4. I find that if I use extra pressure on the brush, my results are improved. Also, I find that as my pan seasoning builds, and if I use a bit more oil during cooking than I usually do, food has less tendency to stick. I would still prefer a scraper edge that is straight rather than curved. I shall still look for a slightly stiffer brush with a better scraper. 2nd Update: Turns out this is the perfect brush for cleaning mushrooms! The bristles are long and soft and the best brush I've used for cleaning delicate mushrooms! A complete surprise for me! If you need a brush for cleaning mushrooms without disfiguring their delicate flesh, THIS IS IT!

Lodge nylon bristled scrub brush
Purchased mid January 2026. I primarily use my Lodge cast iron pans during winter on my kitchen cookstove, so I use this brush on an daily basis, sometimes 2-3 times a day. It is holding up well and still looks new. My pans are well seasoned, so I don't use soap, just a quick scrub with the brush to remove any particles left behind. I see some complain they thought the brush would be stiffer. I like that it's a medium stiffness. It takes a little bit more effort for seared steak, but a little salt and a quick scrub the pan is clean. I'm questioning if maybe some users cast iron pans might not be quite as seasoned as they should be? At this time I have no complaints with the Lodge scrub brush. Good value for the money.

Lodge should be ashamed to put their name on this.
Complete trash, literally fell apart in a week. See the pictures. I live my lodge cast irons and Dutch oven and have nothing but good things to say about them but this brush is trash. First when I got it I thought the bristles were too soft but cleaning the pans with it did eventually do the job so I rolled with. One morning I woke up and literally picked up the brush and a big chunk of it broke off. I threw that part away and kept the rest of the brush after picking up all the bristles from the sink. Cleaned once more with it and it was fine. Next time it broke again. I am really disappointed with this.

Every day cast iron brush
Our first one lasted us so long and does such a great job on my cast iron skillets, as long as theyre properly seasoned. If I let a pan go too long in between seasonings I have to use a heavier duty scrub pad, but the lodge brush is perfect for every day use and im getting our second one now

Excellent and versatile brush
I use this brush specifically for cleaning carbon steel, cast iron and stainless steel cookware immediately after cooking. All my pans are well seasoned, so normally cleaning them up right after cooking does not require a lot of scraping or force. With some warm water, this brush has just the right amount of stiffness to remove 99% of anything stuck on the pan. It is not fully stiff like a metal or bathtub nylon scrub brush, but I didn't want that amount of stiffness anyway as that would probably just scrape the seasoning right off the pan. The stiffness and material of these bristles are just perfect for my use case. The bristles themselves clean up very easily with a little soap and water and the brush looks virtually brand new after every use. Seems to be durable and high quality and the wooden handle is attractive. Very pleased with this brush and it is highly recommended.

Mixed Reviews
My first one is going strong, love it, the best scrubbing brush I’ve ever owned! However, I purchased one for my sister and hers broke within a few months when the plastic shattered, not great. Could it be user error? Aha, I mean it’s a scrubbing brush but ya know. Maybe 🤔

Nice box, solid build.
The brush came in a nice box, and seems quite well-built. Good length of timber handle for grip. Let's see how long it can last.
