I live in a place where there are really no restaurants or take-out places so I cook 3 meals a day, 365 days a year so my oven mitts get quite the work out. I have been through so many different brands it is ridiculous (don't get me started on the crap that the Rachel Ray Brand puts out, total junk). These have been by far the best I have ever used! They clean off very easy, they are easy to use. I know that some others have complained about how large they are, but I do like the size. They grip well, so hands inside the larger gloves are not a problem. I have also made the cook's mistake of putting my hands inside while they are wet (with other oven gloves I have been burned) but I have never been burned with these. They are also easy to use without putting your hands inside of then, use them as regular pot holders, not gloves. I have a 1949 O'Keefe & Merritt Stove that can get up to 600 degrees (makes great pizza) and these oven mitts are so far the best I have used in 5 years.

These are really big and bulky, so some may not like that. But I appreciate that they go far up the arm, decreasing the chance of burns on the forearms when reaching into an oven. When I pick up something hot with them, I feel no heat. I haven't pushed these to whatever their limit is (e.g. I haven't tried picking up some molten lava). The point is: they have done what they are supposed to do with the suggestion that I could be picking up even hotter things without concern.

I bought these for my husband and he really likes them. We got rid of all of our dank pot holders and oven mitts. These high quality silicone oven mitts are all we need! It's nice to wear them because the interior of the gloves has soft material and not that scratchy material that most oven mitts have. They are super easy to clean. While wearing them, just gently swish around in soapy water or just wipe them clean. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I like these. I had a pair of the old-fashion kind, but accidentally destroyed one of those with too much heat. I still have the other one, but having the pair of these really makes it clear that tech has advanced since it was common to use a big thick cotton (or fake cotton) mitten. These are nice -- they're thinner so it's easier to do thing with your hands when they're on, they easy to put on and take off, they're easier to keep clean or get cleaned than those big puffy things (those things are not pleasant when sopping wet), they keep you from burning your hand on hot things. Their job isn't very difficult; they do it well.

I LOVE these. Am always grabbing hot things and never getting burned anymore. Cast iron is super heavy and it's hard to move quickly, So you really need a mitt that can stay in contact with the heat for more than 30 seconds. These do the trick. My daughter is a chef and she is eyeing them and is about to steal them for the gorgeous cheerful color alone, and because then she can throw away all the old cloth ones that really are not professional, don't work and get dirty. These you wipe clean! The only thing that would make them better is magnets embedded inside them so you could attach them to the hood of the stove and grab them even more easily. Then they wouldn't be in the way on a countertop and they wouldn't be hard to grab hanging on a hook, you could just whip them right off the hood . I keep mine in a drawer directly across from the oven and under the stove. It's not convenient but I don't have much counterspace and I don't want them on hooks. They slip on easily and cover my whole wrist area for when I have to reach deep into the oven.

Bought these for my mom after her pair of Crate & Barrell ones (w/o silicone) finally died after close to 10 years!She’s a Cordon Blue trained chef and a major foodie, SUPER hard to please but she loved these immediately upon unboxing commenting on the excellent quality, grip, length, lining and price point. The dark blue matches her kitchen tile as well. Will def purchase a pair for myself when needed!

This a superior product. I'm updating this review after two years of use. These Oven Mitts have saved arms from burns more times then I know. Now the long cuffs have burn lines marking where they've protected arms from hot electric broiler elements, but the double-lined canvas cuffs are still intact and fully useable. I've machine washed them every month (the inner cotton lining pulls inside-out; gentle cycle), and they're now more comfortable than ever.The silicone surfaces are 'grippy' and give us full control over hot items.These are great. They are over-sized, reach up and over my wrists with protection, and allow me to reach fully around large pots in the oven or atop the stove. They are perfect one-handed for reaching in to retrieve small casserole's. I have loved using them for months. But today it snowed. THESE WORK LIKE PENGUIN FINS AND ARE THE BEST WINDSHIELD SNOW SCRAPERS!!! Wear them over mittens and scrape all the wet snow off your car, while hands stay nice and dry and warm.I've also washed these many times in my front-loading washer and tumbled in the dryer. I cannot detect any damage to the gloves. I prefer to pull the inner cotton lining 'inside out' of the silicone mitten. The Inner lining, originally stained with oil and tomato sauce, came out sparkling clean. The construction holds-up to machine actions (gentle cycle). I prefer the now-very-soft inner lining that results after washing.This is a really useful kitchen product. I've used most every time the stove is on. I've hung from a hook right over my oven. They have some nice hanging hooks (aka, 'fruit loops') in the cuffs. A great product I would recommend to all.

I was so impressed the silicone is on both sides of the mitt. The fact the silicone covers so much of the mitt is great because it is less likely to allow heat to transfer to my hands over time. Many I have bought in the past end up cracking and I end up burning my hand. These are well made. Plus, the picture with the description does not do the actual mitt justice. They are really large and cover a lot of your arm- not just your hand.

These work really well! I was cautious after reading reviews here and elsewhere and I have no problem holding hot oven items for 20+ seconds including cast iron from the oven. However the silicone does feel cheap. There is a texture (shapes) that I find hard to clean and I am concerned I'll be replacing these in a year or two because they've broken off. I feel like the design could have been better thought out and more practically implemented. The length could also be a little longer (I have long arms) but the hand fits really well for an average "male" hand. The fabric is showing use already. It doesn't take manipulation well and holds the manipulated shape verses returning to flatness (Sorry, I don't know how to describe it well). It's not terrible but definitely suggests again it will not last. I also wish the fabric was 100% cotton but accept it for the price. I do recommend these after about 1 month of use and the ability to withstand temp was surprising in a good way.

I have finally found this product, which addresses the weaknesses of my other mitts. These work well for any steam and also these are small enough to allow for fairly precise handling of lids and grabbing some of the smaller handles. I recommend these and I would purchase again.

10/10 would buy again. I have small hands so I'm swimming in them but is stills upper easy to handel pots and pans, good grip, great heat protection.

These are the best oven mitts I've had. They really protect against the heat and are easy to clean. I highly recommend them.
