Fantastic throughput and quick installation on windows 10. Range is about 10 meters with walls and doors. More than enough for stereo Bluetooth headphones and data transfer with android phones.

Works with my 2011 MacBook Pro on MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3 and when used in conjunction with the Continuity Activation Tool v2 it does indeed provide the incredibly useful Bluetooth 4 LE functions such as Airdrop and Handoff. I have used the aforementioned Continuity Activation from El Captitan through all updates up to and including the latest MacOS at the time of writing this review. Once you have set it up using this tool, remember you will need to repeat it if a subsequent MacOS update disables the Bluetooth 4 low energy functionality .... some updates do, some don't, but it's no big deal and 10 minutes of your time including the 2 reboots.You must also make sure you have the devices you are Airdropping between or using Handoff between signed in to the same Apple ID and on the same WiFi network ... but that's an Apple thing and not related to this particular piece of hardware.Please don't ask me for technical support - just Google for Mac Continuity Activation Tool and follow the instructions, together with Apple's instructions for enabling and using the Airdrop and Handoff features.

Dopo aver letto le recensioni già presenti sotto questo prodotto, aver visto qualche video per avere conferma ed aver valutato le sue caratteristiche tecniche, ho scelto questo adattatore bluetooth per il mio Hackintosh.La chiavetta è letteralmente Plug & Play su macOS (provato su high Sierra). Bisognerà però recarsi nel menu Condivisione (nelle Preferenze di sistema) e spuntare la voce "condivisione bluetooth" per usufruire di tutte le sue potenzialità.Provato anche su Windows 10 e funziona alla grande! I driver vengono scaricati in automatico (in confezione è comunque presente il cd con i driver da installare).Durante il funzionamento emette una lieve e debole lucina blu, che a parer mio non infastidisce ed allo stesso tempo comunica il funzionamento del dongle.

I have a newer build Hackintosh with UEFI BIOS, with only USB 3.0 ports and running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. I originally bought the IOGear Bluetooth adapter because it had worked for me in the past with an older hackintosh machine. But on this newer Hackintosh, it did not work at all no matter what I did, neither in Windows nor OS X. I gave this GMYLE Bluetooth adapter a try based on someone's review and it works absolutely perfectly. In both Windows 8.1 Pro and OS X Yosemite 10.10.1, I am able to connect my Magic Trackpad, Wireless keyboard, and every other BT device with ease. It did not require any special Unibeast drivers or anything, simply plug in and pair with your devices. This little thing was a life saver, as I need my Magic Trackpad with OS X, the two are inseparable. Pros:- Ausgestattet mit Broadcom-Chipsatz- Preis beim GMYLE-Angebot ist hierfür sehr angemessen- Stick ist einfach zu installieren - über Windows-Update (hier Win 7/64) werden sogar alle grundlegenden Treiber/Funktionen geladen und installiert- Die beigelegte Software (ehemals von Widcomm) fügt sich nahtlos in Windows ein und bringt zahlreiche weitere Funktionen mit- Geräte-Kompatibilität ist sehr hoch (bei mir gab es kein Bluetooth-Gerät, das sich nicht ordentlich mit dem Stick verwenden ließ)- Stick ist sehr kompakt, und kann daher auch gut "immer" eingesteckt bleiben, selbst in Notebooks/LaptopsContra:- Es gibt keinen "richtigen" Download der Software über die Broadcom-Website (nur einen Webinstaller), so dass man eine neuere Software-Version nicht ohne Internetverbindung installieren kannFazit: Super Stick für einen angemessenen Preis, nur das Software-Update ist nicht administrationsfreundlich.
