Throughout history, it has been the responsibility of the candlemaker’s apprentice to mold the delicate wax around the gentle wick while the master endures countless hours of study to determine the next fragrance that will shape the future. Such events occurred with Joseph Louis Gay-Lussac who evolved the trade with the use of stearin, and later James Young with the incorporation of paraffin. It was these during these days many thought the candle to be an unstoppable force, perhaps even an extension of the human condition. But much like the folly of Icarus, the flames that burned the brightest were discarded into the sea and replaced with an alternative light source: electricity. And so ended the golden age of glim; the industry yearned for a revolution.Standing on the shoulders of giants, it’s time for Big Lost Goods to shine.Mild yet pleasantly scented and burning approximately at 1,400 °C (2,550 °F) with infused sage leaves, it would be a fool’s errand to even consider other products. The burn is steady, quiet, and above all, organic. The air around the product is void of toxins, and the energy can only be described as natural. I can not, I refuse to imagine another candle beside my bed for fear the pleasantries of my dreaming may be replaced with anxiety and despair. While the days of apprenticeship may be behind us, but we have here a quintessential example of what occurs when the student not only becomes the master, but may have been the master all along.

I am absolutely obsessed with this candle. I have a lot of candles and this is by far my fav. I wish they had more varieties. I'd buy them all. Mine is almost gone so I'll have to buy more soon and I plan on buying a few. On top of just loving it, I use it to cleanse my tarot deck after every use and they feel and read so much better after. I've tried skipping it and the next readings were way off (I only read for myself so that's how I know they were off 😝). If you need a sign, this is it! Do it!

This candle smells amazing. It isn’t too strong and it just smells clean. But do put it on something like a plate or candle holder that will not catch fire. I wasn’t paying attention, which is my error of course, but I didn’t expect it to catch on fire. Just be careful and don’t make my mistake.

It was nice at first, but it started leaking from the bottom. I didn't notice the leak until a few hours after I blew it out. Luckily I blew it out or it'd be worse.

So. This candle smells AMAZING. Love the scent so much. The container…that’s another story.This is my third candle and every single one of them had wax leaking from the bottom. The wax has now damaged my wood table that I love and I’m very sad about it.BIG LOST WOODS: Please seal the bottoms of these containers better, my dudes.Probably just gonna scoop the wax out or use what has leaked for a wax melter. But seriously - for $16 for just 280g you’d think the container would stop the wax from leaking.

Like a previous recent review said, I feel like this is a good product but it seems a shipment of them were super dented. Disappointed that they would still send them out like this...
