its only £49 and real woodwhere do you start,deliverd sharpish in one boxputting it together, takes some time as its full assemble , every piece needs to be put together, its proper self assemble stuff, went together better than expected for what it cost, some wood glue is worth using for some extra strength if your not looking to take it apart againonce together it feels fairly solid, may need retightening in a few months time but thats a 5 minute joblooks the part in white and looks more than £49 worth and is quite solid but i wouldnt want to jump up and down on the matressit does mark up quite easy being white when putting it together so take your time and be carefulagain for £49 i dont think you can complain

I ordered one of these and put it together by myself. The allan key provided went blunt after the third screw, so I had to raid my husband's tool box for another. Once put together it was creaky and felt like it was going to break whenever I sat on it. I very nearly returned it, until my husband pulled out the electric screwdriver and tightened all the screws, no more creaks and felt completely solid. Took 2 hours to do the first on my own, when I ordered a second one it took about 30 mins for me and my husband to do together. Well packaged and instructions easy to follow. Beautiful looking bed with a gorgeous finish, but not completely without flaws. The slats in the headboard and footboard are slightly short, and the mattress slats are thin, and are smaller pieces joined together to make longer pieces, making me wonder how long these will last. They're also unfinished so beware of splinters and catches the fabric of the mattress when sliding it on and off. Would have given 5 stars if not for those two flaws.

Absolutely avoid like the plague. We ordered this bed and was impressed it was dispatched shortly after and delivered the next day. Upon inspection all parts were there however we noticed a few defects in the finish. We began to put it together regardless as it was only for the short term for our preschooler. When putting it together on of the main parts of the bed began to split whenever the screw was put it. We then clicked on return or replacement option and waited to an update. The next update we got was our refund had been accepted. We wasn’t sent anything in regards to paid postage so we booked a courier to return it. I sent a follow up email directly to the seller to let them know the main defect (split in the wood) was not visible until the screw was in the pre drilled hole. He then called Monday morning to say the refund would be processed - at no point did he mention it would be a partial refund, but he also didn’t offer a replacement, which we would have accepted given we still need a bed! Don’t waste your time or energy, it may be £30 cheaper than an alternative store but it’s a bigger ballache in the long run. We’re £16 down from the courier charge, and £21.99 down on the refund.

Excellent value and looks great. Wouldn't recommend for heavier adults on a long term basis due to the thinness of the slats.

Easy to assemble

For the money im impressed, good solid bed the paintwork was a bit chipped and the slats could have been better but overall good for a kids bedroom you pay for what you get i suppose

Looks like picture. Easy to assemble: I did it on my own but another pair of hands may have been useful. Needs small hands for one part of the assembly which is fiddly.
