Open box.
Box was open. Very disappointing. Bought three different expansion packs and all were open. Returned all three.

One heck of a great game.
My wife and I thought that this was one of the better titles in the Escape Room The Game series. Part 1 was a little frustrating at times--it requires a lot of detail work--but we eventually pieced things together. Overall, the game was rather clever, though not 100% believable at times, of course. There was one puzzle in Part 2 that I didn't think was done well. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, you need an Internet connection & email access to complete the final puzzle, and I didn't appreciate that too much; but when all is said and done, this was one of the better games we've done.Another reviewer said this game contains vulgar language and sexually explicit material. Let me address that. There is one vulgar word in the game (my wife picked up on it and commented about it, too). Honestly, it's a word that any teen probably hears a hundred times a day in a public high school. Nevertheless, there really wasn't any need for it. Now as for the sexually explicit material, no... there's nothing "explicit" in the game. What I assume the reviewer is referring to is that, unfortunately, left-wing woke-ism and SJWs have infiltrated the gaming industry also (which is sad that you can't even get away from the BS when you're trying to relax and have fun), and one of the clues suggests a non-traditional relationship among two of the characters in the back story. Again, completely unnecessary other than to inject woke-ism into the game. To be fair to the designers, however, The Switch isn't marketed as a "Family" edition, either. The only other possible sexual reference is that another character happens to be pregnant. Perhaps the other reviewer wasn't ready to have the "birds & bees" talk yet... even though the recommended age for this game is 16+?Anyway, that's the extent of the vulgarity and sexually explicit material. The bottom line is, if you can overlook the previous paragraph then The Switch is a 4-to-4.5 star game. Either way, at least now you know what to expect and can decide for yourselves whether to purchase or not.

They left out one important clue
We purchased this expansion pack and were very frustrated that the last section requires you to email an address for your last clue, but you are never told that in advance. We only know because in frustration, after tge game was over, we began reading reviews and another reviewer revealed this. The purpose of playing a board game is to get away from phones. Did not enjoy as much as the other games.
