Aquasana AQ-MF-1-R Replacement Filter | Claryum Direct Connect

I am happy with this filter. Easy to install even if you are only a little bit handy. Pressure is good but obviously maybe 10% less pressure than usual. To be expected! We use it in a summer home so change the filter every summer which is very simple. Although the drinking water is good in our area our home is old with lead pipes so this filter makes sense for us. The cost seems low for providing safer drinking water!

I ordered two filters. One installed easily. The other didn’t because the manifold leaked. Aquasana sent a new manifold, I installed it and second filter easily went in. Good tasting water.

If you aren't using a professional water purification company and are doing it yourself, Aquasana removes the largest variety of contaminants from your tap water. It's easy to set up and install. Unfortunately, replacing these filters every 3 months for a family of 4, isn't cheap at 100.00. As I live alone, I usually keep my filter approximately 5 months before replacement. It will reduce cold water flow somewhat.

2 old folks in their 70s. We try to drink a lot of water and about 1 pot of coffee a day. Stream is now slow so will need to replace. Much better than drinking water from a plastic container.

We’ve purchased this filter several times now and it’s easy to install in our apartment kitchen plumbing, and the water tastes better and the plants are healthier with less browning on the leaves. Just wish it worked for the hot water, too. We’ve had zero issues with water pressure.

Took a lot longer to arrive than originally stated. I had to chase it up with Amazon. No communication from seller, won't be buying again. Very happy with the actual filter, it works very well and we've used the system for a couple of years.

What a waste of time and money! I bought a new filter because I thought the previous owners of the house were using it for a long time and the filter was clogged. To my surprise, the new filter was better, but the cold water flow was 10 times less than the hot line. And after less than 3 months, the flow is ridiculous! We can use tempered water because the hot water pressure wins, and I ended up removing the system.
