This pen has a great feel and presents a nice amount of weight when writing. You'll have to trim the end of some refills but it's really easy to do.The cap screws onto the other end so you don't lose it. Don't tighten it too much or you'll loosen the end cap and have to tighten it with a screw driver

I've purchased two other pens from this vendor, and I loved them. The redesign on this one needs some work. When I take the cap off and screw it on the top, it gets stuck, and I have to get a wrench out to remove it. In the meantime, the spring pops on me, the pen slides out, I can't put it in my pocket, because I'll lose parts. Very frustrating.

This is a nice stainless steel pen. It has a nice heavy weight to it, which I really like. The pen diameter is a very comfortable 10mm, which I think is the perfect balance of not too thin and not too thick. The back of the pen has threads so you can post the cap.It has a nice satin finish and the machining is pretty good too. It's kinda ugly though with the cap on, but looks better (maybe more normal looking) when posted on the back. The balance is good whether you have the cap posted or not, but I do like the extra little weight that it provides, as well as not running the risk of losing it since the cap is relatively small.Its a pretty nice pen for being made in china, which by the way, they try pretty hard to hide where this pen is actually made, which is both sad and annoying. They try to obfuscate where it is actually made with advertising nonsense like, "Designed in Chattanooga, Tennessee"... as if I care that you "designed" it in America if its being manufactured in china.One of the unique things about this pen, and one of the reasons I got it, is that it uses Pilot Hi-Tec-C and G-Tec-C refills (standard sized, not the shorter compact ones). I've never tried these before, but they are pretty awesome. The tips of these are almost like needles but they write really smooth and the lines are really fine and come in a wide range of colors. They are also pretty inexpensive like most pilot ink refills. I like them alot, though I think the Pilot G2 is still my favorite ink refill. Note that I couldn't find G-Tec-C refills, so I had to buy a pack of G-Tec-C pens and take them apart, but that isn't a big deal since they are so inexpensive.All of that said, I like this pen, its priced reasonably, its nice quality, and I'm glad it introduced me to the Pilot Hi-Tec-C and G-Tec-C refills because I REALLY like those alot. Would recommend. Would also recommend to Big Idea Design to drop the "designed in..." marketing trash and either make your pens in America or at least be upfront that they are made in china.

Super high quality steel pen. It’s heavy with a serious calibration factor and the cap is small, weighted right and screws onto the back perfectly. Invest in yourself for once!

An all around good product, although I’ve had some issues with the to screw unthreading upon trying to remove the cap from it. Almost lost my pocket clip because of it. Aside from that the pen feels weighted perfectly and writes very well.

First off I’ll say the actual pen itself is top notch. It’s heavy duty and beautiful. Perfectly weighted and machined. I have large hands so I stayed away from big ideas other mini and slim pens.However, the stock ink cartridge this pen comes with sucks for air travel. I fly every other week for work and I wanted a beautiful pen I could take with me to meetings and to take notes sign documents etc. This pens stock ink cartridge exploded on me during the first flight. Like big time.There I am with my shiny new $45 pen lol cleaning up ink with a ruined shirt. Not a great first experience.Other than that the pen is badass. Just make sure that if you fly that you immediately get some airplane safe cartridges for this pen. Also a little dab of loctite on the rear threads will stop you from backing off the back piece when you screw the cap on a little too tight- another thing big idea should do from factory imo.
