how do you get the eyes to move with these trains?

You would need to buy the Bachmann train tracks it goes wit the bachmann trains wit movable eyes.

does spencer run well on the tracks?

Spencer runs well.Very smooth running. I do have this Bachmann product. Even the hornby brand is just as good.

Age old question: who is stronger, gordon or spencer? How does the pulling strength of this engine compare to other bachmann or thomas engines? Ho

Since I have both engines, the answer would be Spencer. Gross tonnage carries the day.

Can this engine run on DCC system?

this is not dcc compatable. But i have converted my one to dcc myself.

Spencer’s as fast as he looks.

Having recently gotten back into model railroading, I wanted to update my Bachmann Thomas collection. I only wish my dad got Spencer sooner. His running gear is mesmerizing to watch considering how big his driver wheels are. Not to mention he runs super fast. A must for a Thomas collection.
