Little Donkey AndyMen's UPF 50+ UV Protection Shirt, Long Sleeve Fishing Hiking Shirt

Bought this shirt as it was not only lightweight but also a protection against the sun. Used for a safari in South Africa. Turns out weather in South Africa was a little cooler than our summers in Texas. Still…loved the shirt. Great fit, looked great, even the elephants trumpeted in admiration when they saw me wearing it.

My first concern buying this was that it would turn out to be about two sizes to small. That's happened a couple of times in the past. It appears that some folks have a really weird idea of what 3XL is. This shirt turned out to be fine. It is indeed what I'd expect a 3XL to be.Next up was a worry that it might be to heavy for summer use. Again, not a problem at all. This is a *very* lightweight shirt. I've never seen anything this light before.I assumed that it would do a number on mosquitos. That also has proven to be true. Alaska in the summer has provided a fairly extensive test of that feature.Went out and ordered several more. The one feature they don't seem to have is a self cleaning button. Get this and that on them while cleaning the fish and you either "wear the look" until you get it washed.

This shirt is exactly what I was looking for--something lightweight to wear as an overshirt to add a bit of sun protection. I bought it a size bigger than I ordinarily would for that purpose, having purchased the Little Donkey Andy camping shirt and finding it too heavy and hot on a brief camping trip. The fishing shirt fits well except the sleeves, which are about 2" too short. Not a huge problem as I fold the cuffs back a bit, but thought I'd mention it for anyone where that might be a problem.

Was a little baggy so tried smaller size. That was definitely too small. Got shirt to protect from onslaught of mosquitos after finally getting some rain. Worked as described...i.e. Didn't make me sweaty and no mosquito bites. Just bought another in a lighter color.

I bought the long sleeve shirt for my husband in 3 different colors. Great material and has stylish details.Update after several orders: 3 white shirts turned light gray after one washing. They won’t become white again even with bleach. 2 shirts arrived in ivory but I ordered white. Ivory is not even a choice when shopping for this shirt. Ordered blue shirts in two separate orders. One of them became much lighter blue after washing. In my last order I received L instead of XL. The shirts are made very well but something is wrong with the colors. The shape of the shirt hides belly fat and they are UPF shirts. Summer time this shirt is a must have. My husband uses the gray ones now for working in the yard. The ivory and light blue were nice enough to use on our vacation. The Large I still have to be returned. I hope they will restock the “real” white shirts. We are hooked. 😁 I would buy more! It’s pretty much a gamble with the colors but I still recommend this shirt.

The shirts are fine and seem to keep the bugs from biting. However, I use them when I hike and on hot days want to roll up the sleeves. The part (piec of fabric with a button and buttonhole) that is supposed to hold the sleeves up when attached to the loop in the outside of the sleeve either has a button that is too big or a buttonhole that is too small. I have four of these shirts and this screwup is consistent among them all. Pretty poor design in an otherwise fine shirt.

Shirt is very comfortable/light weight. Very similar to the Columbia Bahama II long sleeve shirt. I purchased the red and dark/olive green shirts using the sizing chart, returned/replaced them with one size larger. on a side note one of the replacement shirts had an issue with the large left side breast pocket. the velcro for the smaller left side pocket had been sewn through the larger pocket. Had to use a seam ripper to remove the velcro stitching that went all the way through the shirt and hand sewed the velcro back on correctly so that the larger pocket was fully useable.

Fits as expected, good value

Looks better on my husband than in the Amazon photo. Great shirt. Very happy.

Die Hemden fallen sehr groß aus. Die Maßangaben sind leider in Zoll, so das man sich erst alles umrechnen muss. Dazu kommt, dass die Maße ca. 10cm breiter sind als im Durchschnitt der anderen Hersteller.Retour lief aber anstandslos.
