One-Minute Devotions for Women

This book literally changed my life. I actually saw this book in a bookstore two years ago and immediately opened to a passage that felt like it was written to encourage me for my exact situation at the time. I bought it of course and read it everyday and it helped focus on what is really important: God. The passages are precise and powerful and really help to start your day off right. Last week, I gave that copy to my best friend who needed it just as much I did two years ago an it's helping her through some very tough times and to even reconnect with God. What a blessing!! This is the book that just keeps giving. So of course I whipped around and bought another copy from Amazon. So so so happy to give this book the review it deserves!!! I love it and couldn't recommend it more for anyone struggling with faith, life or anyone just trying to stayed focused on God.

This book is such an encouragement for Christian women. Carolyn Larsen uses a verse from God's Word and then shares some thoughts. She is very perceptive on human nature and knows how to apply God's Word to our everyday situations. I found this book to be very encouraging, short and to the point. I also read my Bible and other devotions but this one gives a jump start to your day. I have given this to other ladies and they also have passed it along. I would say her other books for boys and girls and mothers, etc., would be excellent as well. I prefer KJV or NKJV but if you are familiar with the Bible, you know what the verses are.

This book is smaller than what I thought, but it really doesn’t matter because it is a really pretty pink leather whether it’s imitation or not it doesn’t matter. It’s really beautiful. I only read for tomorrow and I already love the book. It’s written probably to be able to read in less than one minute and it really gets you to think. Thank you for such a special book

I love this little devotional. It gives you a Bible Verse along with a story that goes with it.

I've had this devotional for quite a while now and really love it. I keep it beside my bed and read it before getting up in the morning. It is always such an encouraging way to begin the day. I recently purchased another one to give to a friend going through a rough patch. Specifically for the month of May because she was having deep sadness and depression. She said it spoke so much to her and was very helpful.

I like that they're just short, quick notes to get you thinking. One downside is that they don't identify what version of the bible they use to quote the scriptures by each quote. If you look for it, you can find that they identify on the publishing info page that they use NIV. Is rather have that identified more notably or next to each quote.

This is a nice read when you just don’t have time to do your regular devotion in the morning. A minute is about all it will take to read a page. I’m not sure why they chose this pink to make the cover as most women don’t even like pink!

This is a nice devotional. I enjoy the quick daily read. I really wanted to buy more for gifts for a few friends but considering there is a whole month of devotionals on raising children etc. I cant because they don't have children. So besides that its a wonderful little devotional
