Thoughtful Design, Great Features, Keeping Our Baby Safe
As first-time parents, my partner and I have been searching for a reliable camera to help us monitor our baby. While browsing, we were particularly drawn to features like the sleeping pad, danger zone alerts, and crying detection. After considering these, we decided to give the Cubo AI camera a try. After using it for two weeks, here’s what we thought:The whole set was super easy to assemble, which we really appreciated. The camera has amazing resolution—just take a look at the picture we uploaded from our living room. The quality is super clear, making it easy to see everything. The app is also really easy to use. We tested it and had no trouble hearing any sound from the baby’s room. One feature we love is that we can use another app while keeping the Cubo AI app running in the corner of our phone screen. That’s such a useful feature! The night light is just the right brightness—not too bright—and we think it’s smart how they placed it on the back of the bird instead of under the camera. If it were under the camera, it might disturb the baby’s sleep, so we feel this design is really well thought out.We also really like the sleep pad. It’s a sweet feature that helps us track any motion our baby makes during the night. It gives us peace of mind, knowing we’ll get alerts if there’s anything wrong. It’s especially reassuring when thinking about things like Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)—this gives us more time to react if needed. That said, there are a couple of things we wish were different. You have to manually move the camera up or down, which isn’t very convenient. It would be great if we could adjust it using the app or if the camera could automatically follow the baby’s movements. Additionally, the crib mount doesn’t fit thicker crib rails very well, so that could be improved too.Overall, the Cubo AI camera has exceeded our expectations in many ways, offering thoughtful design, impressive resolution, and parent-friendly features like the sleep pad and app functionality. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, such as manual camera adjustments and the crib mount's compatibility, we feel the peace of mind it provides outweighs these inconveniences. We would definitely recommend it to other parents looking for a reliable and intuitive baby monitoring system.

3 years later and I still love this camera!
This is a FANTASTIC camera and if I had to buy it all over again I would in a heart beat!I love that it connects via WiFi and I can see my kid sleeping from anywhere! If dad is on duty and I am out running errands, I can look at the phone and still see him sleeping and hear exactly when he wakes. The sound quality is crystal clear. Easy to set up - even a total dummy can set it up. I mounted the camera on his crib when he was a baby and now I have it sitting on the dresser. The stand up base is a bit flimsy - but can be weighted down. Also they just added a new feature where you can minimize the screen and use other apps, while still seeing your child sleeping. The temperature and humidity alerts are so helpful. The rollover, covered face and cry alerts were also helpful when my child was a baby. The picture is crystal clear. It is in color when light filters from the window or when the lamp light is turned on and then switches to night mode gray scale when the room is dark.Their customer service is 💯 responsive and so helpful- gets back to you within a few hours at most. They handhold you through any trouble shooting ( which I only had to contact them last week with a question- not bad after 3 years) but their instructions were so detailed and spelled out so plainly with pictures.Communication is all done via the app and email - which is awesome because you can refer back to your conversation easily. This is the camera to get!Thank you Cubo - you have a great product!

Don’t buy this, just get the Nanit instead.
TLDR - don’t buy this monitor unless you want frequent alerts that your baby isn’t breathing (even when baby is breathing), and then terrible customer support just saying that’s “just how it is.”Full review:I did so much research when I was deciding on a baby monitor. I thought the CuboAi was so cute and would go well in my nursery, and I liked a lot of the listed features. The sleep sensor pad seemed like a brilliant way to monitor baby’s breathing while sleeping, to relieve fears about SIDS, without having to put a sock or band on baby each night. I debated seriously between the Nanit, the Miku, and the CuboAi but decided on the CuboAi. Don’t make the same mistake that I did!Initially we had baby in a Snoo in our room, right next to the bed. We finally moved baby to the crib in the nursery at 6 months, and I was very worried that baby might stop breathing and I wouldn’t know, since we weren’t room sharing anymore. Things went ok the first two nights in the nursery and then I got a “critical alert” that baby wasn’t breathing. I rushed up to the nursery and grabbed my baby, who was thankfully still breathing, but who was now awake and less than pleased to be woken up suddenly. It was a horrible, indescribable feeling to be told your baby might be dead—my chest felt like I couldn’t breathe either, and time seemed to move in slow motion until I had my (breathing) baby in my arms again. After that, I began to get deluged with critical “not breathing” alerts. Dozens of them, so many I can’t count them in the app. They kept me up at night, because I would get the alert and then carefully try to watch the video to make sure baby’s chest was moving. I reached out to customer support about it, sent them copies of all my settings, the critical alerts, information about the crib and mattress, photos of everything. They took up over a week of my time before finally stating that this was just how it is with the product—that if baby moves away from the center of the mattress or touches the edge of the crib railing, then the sleep sensor pad will send alerts that baby isn’t breathing. When I expressed how unacceptable this was, as babies move around in cribs when sleeping and there’s nothing you can do to stop that, customer support offered to send me a new sleep sensor pad. But they said that nothing was wrong with the one I had, that the new one would be the same thing I already had, and they wanted me to mail back the old one too. They refused to provide a replacement product that would actually work, and they did not stand behind their product with a refund.I am posting this review to save other parents from paying hundreds of dollars to experience the same heart dropping fear that CuboAi made me feel. Just get the Nanit instead, I’ve heard from friends that it’s really great. I am planning to buy a Nanit now, as the second very expensive baby monitor purchase I’ll have to make, since CuboAi was an absolute waste of money.
