Well-made, but size up. (+ update)
OVERALL: This is a well-made, cute vest that is worth the money. My biggest concern was how secure the vest is, as my cat is very timid and spooks easily. While walking outside she has tried to bolt a few times while wearing this vest (got spooked by a falling leaf once lol) and the velcro has always held very, very well. We've been using it for a couple months and the velcro strength has not faded yet. However, SIZE UP.PROS:-Well-made. Stitching and fabric are quality for the price point.-Both the velcro and the clip for the leash are secure. I trust them to hold.-Very cute.-There is no chest strap, which can be very uncomfortable for cats.CONS:-Runs small. I followed other reviews and decided to size-up, which was the right call. It has also given her a little bit of room to grow into it.-The leash that comes with the vest is a little too short for me. She has to stay pretty close to my feet when we walk due to the length. This may be okay for some, but I want her to have a bit more room to roam.-She has never escaped from the vest, but has managed to get a front paw through the neck strap. This leaves her in a very contorted, uncomfortable position. Just a warning to never leave your cat unattended while wearing this vest.-It is possible that the velcro strength may eventually fade as we use the vest. Will have to keep an eye on it over time.11/11/20 update: After about a year of use, I ended up switching to an Adventure Cats Harness for my cat. My cat was able to escape twice from this vest while outside and after my second experience chasing her around the house, I started looking for something with a chest strap (certainly more uncomfortable for her, but ultimately best for her safety). She was able to escape by facing me and backing up quickly. The pull from the leash on the back of the vest allowed her to literally just slip it off over her head and then front arms. The vest held-up fine as long as she was “running away“ from me with her tail facing me, but once she figured out this particular trick there was no going back.

Not really "escape proof" lol
This harness is nice and sturdy, and easy to get on and off, but beware it's not actually escape proof. Both of my kitties are flexible enough to squeeze themselves out of it backwards if they're really motivated, but they love to spend time lounging on the porch and I use this for their safety, and it works just fine as long as they're supervised.

Not just for cats
I love these harnesses. I bought these for our miniature dachshunds. Size large fit perfectly for our 8 to 12 pound babies. Velcro makes them a little adjustable. Very sturdy, no escapes. Matching leashes are nice also.

My cat absolutely hates this with a passion I previously thought him incapable of expressing.
From my perspective: Fits well. I bought the small and medium because he's about 8 pounds and either one fits, but the smaller one fits him best. Seems sturdy enough and it didn't break the bank, plus it's camo! Great for a beginner adventure kitty, right? He seemed to know it was for him when I pulled it from the box and rubbed it a little. Then I, with apparent malice aforethought and harboring secret dreams of destroying his autonomy placed it on him and velcroed him up. I put him on his feet and he splatted to the ground on his side. We were in for a test of wills. He spent some time deciding if I meant him fatal harm and came to the incorrect conclusion that I did mean to kill and probably eat him, even though there was never any clue he felt that way until now. With his belly touching the ground he bolted about 10 feet and then it looked like he was wrestling an imaginary dragon, Mehmet I assume. It may be that the red dragon helped him get out of the harness, because get out he did, then moved under a car. Hilarity ensued. Finally caught and (omg) hissing at me he took a deep breath to make it more difficult to harness him, but I had learned the way of the horse many years ago and I just waited for him to blow. The satisfying "Chhh" of applying velcro was the last sound he ever heard before his autonomy was ripped away and he became rigid, thus falling to the ground. I am sure with time, and great patience will come total compliance with my wishes, after all he is but a house cat. From the cat's perspective: "Hey what's that thing is it a toy for me?" Rubs face on it - I want this. Get picked up, a concealing, possibly warm thing being draped over me. Nice. A new cat blanket maybe? Then "chhh" and my neck freedom is severely hindered. Oh, I do not like this (shakes head and shoulders) What the F- are you doing? Don't attach the other velcro, (violent wiggling) you mother- Awww. Now I. Don't. Have the. Autonomy. To stand. (falls sideways). It is if I am without the use of my extremities and - ohh I am not getting air, omg I'm not getting air, "Holy - I'm going to die. You murderer!" Pass out briefly from lack of snacks then instantly bolt under a car like a friggin ninja! "What's - wh" (flips ends at the end of leash). "Sorcery! Imaginary dragon you're my only friend now, you have to help me get out of this trap before I suffocate." (Massive Struggling)"Ah thank you dragon, I would offer you my firstborn, but fear that I shall never conceive a child.""Do not worry about it my friend as I am an imaginary dragon. The power to escape was always within you"Owner snags me when I was talking to Mehmet, starts re attaching the harness. "I'll inhale and puff myself up so he can't make it fit". Oh this was a great idea, he's having trouble getting the belly strap - aw, what's he doing. He's...waiting. What, why wait? Just try again and give up, that's your path. He knew I was going to hold my breath, he's a WITCH."(looking at me) "Notice my eyes are wide open right now, as I am giving you no assurance of not killing you in your sleep tonight. You have to sleep sometime, you have to get on the toilet sometime and you will never see it coming. I mean, thanks for the treat...oh yes, quite yummy. Now what were you on about?

Didn't work for my cat
There was too much coverage on my cat's back for this to work for her. She did an army crawl that she doesn't do with her other harness because the sensation on her back was overwhelming her. Such a shame because it's really adorable! (But her comfort and safety are more important than whether I think it's cute or not.) It was well made and securely fit otherwise. The only other complaint was that the neck area was so high, she couldn't look down normally because the rigid fabric was pressing upwards on her neck. It was very easy to adjust and put on/take off of her, while also holding her securely.

Sturdy and Secure
I bought this harness to replace a harness that ripped while my cat was on vacation. The initial attraction is that it could be shipped to me next day. The harness has a sturdy but comfortable fabric. If adjusted properly the harness your cat shouldn't be able to escape. My cat seems comfortable while wearing it. I plan to purchase a second one to have on hand while traveling.

Seemed comfortable for kitty!
She didn’t fuss at all wearing this. Walked normally with it on. Seemed to calm her for travel. I brought a thunder shirt, but this seemed to work better. And with the leash she could walk around and explore. Very cute!

It's soooo cute!
It is everything we were looking for. We tried the over the head harness and kitty was not going to let us even try...but with this, it was soooo easy, it looks comfortable, she adjusted to it within seconds, loves wearing it to go outside and roll in the grass, and it's sooooo cute! It fit her a little big, but with the velcro it's easy to adjust to size...and no escape issues, make sure you put it on snug! Can't wait to purchase more...we looooove it...thank you!

Secure and stlyish harness. Feels very safe
My kitten is 14 weeks old and this fits perfectly!I had tried a different style of harness first but it didn't feel super secure. This fits really well, my cat can't sneak out of it and it doesn't seem to impede her movements. She does sometimes flop and refuse to move but that's pretty normal with harness training and the speed and confidence with which she moves when offered a treat proves it can't be affecting her movement. It looks really nice and is well madeMy cat sits on it and meows to request I put it on her whennshe wants to go out so she seems to like it!

Gut verarbeitet und leicht
Kater, 2,7kg, Halsumfang 17cm, Brustumfang 27cm.
