I have a very large front and back yard with lots of planters and trees. i spend more time using the edger than my mower. I saw these replacement lines and covers and the prices wasnt too bad, actually way better than the brand name, and thought i would give them a try. I really liked the replacement cover as i didnt realize that mine was ready to be replaced anyway. The string threaded easily into my Ryobi edger and worked great and didnt get stuck at all like the brand name ones do.

So, so easy to pop in. Trims light weeds well. Never got stuck. Self advances. Will not trim thick weeds with stick snubs as the line breaks.

This is my 2nd purchase of the same product. I have used these for a couple of years now. Super impressed! Makes trimming so much easier and removes the need to fight with manually string trimmer line. You won’t be disappointed!

I gave instruction to put in in the back porch, still left it in the front porch.

Not what I expected at all. The description said this are direct replacements for Ryobi One+. I found that the caps are not a good fit, without some modification with a utility knife to shave the tabs down to the correct width. They work but still not a good fit even after the mod. The spools are not the dual feed that are used on my trimmer! I suppose it does show that in the photos, but I did not notice this until received. The description says replacement for all Ryobi One+ which to me would mean works just like the original at least!

The ease of replacing string on weed eater

This is our second order of this replacement line. So great to have on hand when that last spool runs out. Order once for the season and it is delivered right to the door.
