The fabric is soft and the bra cups fit as expected for the size I ordered. However, the problem with the plastic boning that others complain about is a real thing. I actually tried the bra on before washing it and didn't see any problems. After half a day of wearing the bra though, the plastic boning had bent at the middle such that I had little V-shapes pointing out at my sides. It was distracting against my arms, so I snipped the fabric cover, exposed as much of the plastic as I could, and cut it off with scissors.
