I purchased this item for my girlfriend earlier this year. As for the reviews that give this 1 star... They aren't very realistic. One of my boxes (exterior boxes) was scuffed up when I received it, but the actual item was safe as can be (the entire point of a box). The person who complained about getting holes in their gloves after a lot of use... Cashmere is not meant to be used as work clothes. It is a very warm and stylish addition to whatever clothes you have, and they will last a very long time if worn to keep your hands warm and not warn to be a protection from whatever you are touching with your hands. If you want protective gloves then get leather work gloves. If you want something really warm, soft, and beautiful that is very well made in order to keep your digits and head warm then by all means get this item!!! I thoroughly was impressed and recommend it.

My husband ordered this set for me.I have moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, which affects my hands pretty badly.These cashmere gloves are the only gloves that I can put on & take off easily. They are very warm, also. The hat is cute & warm, too.I have one issue with the gloves, not enough to delete a star.Cashmere is very soft, so DO NOT wear a ring on any finger, especially with a prong-set gem! I've torn 2 gloves this way. Now I put my rings back on after I've taken off the gloves.

This hat and gloves are great and warm and I wear them everyday on my walks in cold weather.
