My dogs love when I bring these mats out since they know there's a treat imminent. I usually make them a banana, peanut butter and yogurt mix, and they love when I pull these out of the freezer. Although one of my dogs probably finishes licking hers in under 5-10 minutes, it's definitely a fun way to enrich your dog's day while also giving them a yummy treat. I live in Texas where the heat is obviously rampant during the summer, so I always try and give this to them after a hot day to cool them down. They are not too bad to clean either - I just let them soak and then use the faucet water to get any remaining food out of the small crevices.

✓ My puppy is scared of baths and it is almost impossible to get him into a bath tub. This licki mat is my life saver! Now, I can't imagine bath time for my 6 month old Goldendoodle puppy without this!✓ This product is of a good quality. Dishwasher safe.✓ I smear some dog safe peanut butter and yogurt on this mat and then freeze it. I take it out of the freezer right before my puppy's bathtime and lure him into the bathtub using this. He becomes fascinated by the treats in this mat and is totally focussed on licking it that he forgets that I am bathing him. Gives me a good 20 minute window to bath and clean him!✓This product does not have suction cups to keep it in place. That does not bother me since I like to hold it in my hand and move it around so that my puppy moves accordingly. This makes it easier for me to wash him. But I think it will be a problem to those who are looking forward to use this as a crate training tool.✓ My puppy loves to chew and shred things in general but he has not succeeded in shredding this mat apart. So far he has only been focused on licking rather than chewing this mat. I make it a point to remove this mat once he is finished so that he does not get a chance to ruin it.✓ Also, I use this mat solely to help my puppy through bathtime which is once of his most stressful situations; thus increasing the effectiveness of this tool in reducing his anxiety. In case this mat is available to him all the time, he will eventually get bored of it, therefore reducing it's effectiveness during stressful situations. This is one important point to keep in mind in case you are using this licki mat as a tool to reduce anxiety!

These lick mats are lifesavers! They keep my puppy occupied for at least 30 minutes at a time when I spread peanut butter or greek yogurt, and freeze it.There is no suction at all on these ones, so i just put it in the crate. The cleaning process is a pain, so I use a toothbrush to help scrub it. It also helps to soak it for a few hours to break down the stuck foods.All in all, my pup lights up when she sees me making a lick mat!

I like to use these when giving my cats treats or to keep them still for brushing or administering their flea prevention or distracted away from what I am trying to do. I usually take a couple of the Churu lickable tubes and squeeze them on to the sections and spread it into the grooves with the end of the tube. Then when they are finished, toss it in the dishwasher! They clean up beautifully and the mat doesn’t slide all over the floor when they are eating from it.

1st. My dogs love these. They are both rescues and come with their own little loveable "issues" which result in a little anxiety. I keep these in the freezer ready to go when that happens so I can redirect that energy. This is something that they have to be monitored with at all times so they don't chew it up as it's very flimsy.2nd. Unless you have a dish washer, this is not easy to clean. Luckily I have a dishwasher and this is cleaned and sanitized easily.3rd, for ease of spreading...it just depends on what you are trying to spread. If it's on the thicker side, you'll have to use your finger so it gets down in the grooves. Otherwise the dog will get it clean in just a couple swipes. I tend to use thinner things because I freeze it for a couple hours, so this is a non issue.4th..and the only real complaint I have. This slides all over the floor. My dog then puts his foot on it to anchor it..and then I get foot prints with what ever treat I've put on it. I just have to make sure he doesn't get on the carpet before I can clean the pad of his foot. It can be a mess. But this is not enough for me not to use them. This calms them both down when their stress levels get a little too high. So thank you for making this product.

It is doing its job so far, keeping my cat from eating so fast that he throws up. It is a little annoying to clean but that's not really a big deal.

We keep on buying, adding peanut butter and plain Greek yogurt to our dogs nightly delight. Watch you dog, as once they come to the end, they might begin to chew on it.

These are great just as described and easy to clean

Bought this for my ginger moggie who is a little psychopath and eats his food in 0.12 seconds. Luckily with this pad I can smush the food in to it with a fork and he has to take some more time eating it.

Product seems a lot more robust than one I experienced when my dog was younger which she just effortless tore apart. This one is much better, more weight, generally stronger and easy to clean. She patiently licks off all the pate I spread. No attempt to do anything with the mat. She is older now. Her younger self would probably have treated it more like a toy. I would have liked a bit more information about the material it is made from. I did do a search on line to satisfy myself this is not harmful.
