we saw a book review on youtube so we kinda knew the content of the book before purchase. our kid likes this book because the story is hilarious. i need to be honest that this is not a book for school book report.

I bought this book for my 8 year old nephew. I was searching for a light hearted/funny book that wasn’t too complicated, especially considering that English is my nephews second language. He’s only been practicing it for 2 years now and he has a very hard time reading. He often gets angry at himself, cries, and gives up.From the moment I handed him this book though, his face lit up. He thought the title was ridiculously funny! It usually takes a lot of convincing (and bribing on my sisters part) to get him to sit and read for 10 minutes but he didn’t even require prompting this time. He sprawled across my couch and started reading.I’ve never seen him so excited and bubbly while reading before! He read it twice and was a big fan of the art. He showed it off to his parents and kept showing me which butts he thought were the most hilarious.I bought the book during his winter break but since starting classes again he’s already used it for his homework. There are some words he has a hard to pronouncing but luckily he’s having too much fun that he doesn’t beat himself up about it.I’ll admit I found the ending a bit lacking compared to the rest of the story (didn’t rhyme and was very sudden) but my nephew thought it was funny and that’s honestly what matters most to me. This definitely motived me to continue finding books for him!

Our family loves books read books every day. The kids read almost all the books they are and this may be their new favorite. Not sure who enjoyed the book more the kids or the grown-ups, but this was so entertaining so hilarious. We read it so many times at this point every time cried tears from laughing. Four year old received for his birthday and been reading it every day. Such a fun book.
