Excellent quality and value - does a great job reliably
Picked this up to install it in my SAR team's UTV. We used it to do red/white forward and sides and red/amber rear, with the option of also doing just amber 360 degrees. Works very well and was fairly easy to install. The handheld controller is very straightforward to use and offers a lot of options for programming. We've had it installed for about 9 months and we've used it many times during missions of all kinds in every type of condition, and we're very happy with it.The size of the controller is really manageable and can tuck up in a number of locations, making installation pretty versatile. Of course, being a Whelen, build quality is fantastic and should last the life of our machine, even with all the dirt, moisture, and jostling it will see. So considering that, while the price isn't "cheap", it offers good value for money. There's a clear reason Whelen is one of the go-to brands for up-fitting first responder vehicles. When you need stuff to work, and it supports life saving missions, it needs to be super reliable and this controller absolutely is.
