What is the % of curcumin?

If it isn't listed, it is probably 2% or lower and used mainly for cooking (flavor). The answer: "The average curcumin content of turmeric is approximately 3% (by weight)." is a total joke. That's like stating that the average vehicle weighs x number of tons, which includes tiny ones to giant 18 wheelers. I have found several companies, even here on Amazon that sell 3 - 4% curcumin Turmeric powder. Just search around. Anything lower than 2.5% is not what you're looking for if you want it for medicinal use. And any product that does not list it is typically 2% or less. I have researched this quite a lot.

Why does Starwest Turmeric have a "California Prop 65" Warning and "Not to be used during pregnancy" Warning on this Amazon page?

None of these answers are correct. Regardless of whether this product is organic, lead chromate is used as an additive coloring agent in almost ALL tumeric sourced from India and Bangladesh. DO NOT buy turmeric from a seller with the PROP 65 warning or from which doesn't provide evidence of testing.

How is it packaged for shipment?  e.g. bottle, plastic bag, foil bag, other

The herbs I got, which were Organic Turmeric root, were packaged in foil bags. I can't remember if Amazon then put them in a plastic bag or a box. I think they were in a bag. Sorry I don't have more information.
