Gray shelf liner

Originally bought this to keep my laundry detergent from leaking onto my pressboard garage shelves but I had some leftover that I used in my pantry. Good product. Nice that you can just wipe it down and it’s not “stuck” to the shelf but it stays in place.

These are fabulous in the kitchen! Super durable and really looks nice. Keeps the drawers and under cabinets nice an organized. Bins and bottles stay where you put them. Easy to wipe clean of any spills or leaks too.

For the price paid, this is a great value. So here's the lowdown. There are thicker liners available, but in all honestly I don't think you'll find anything much different here on Amazon. I looked and read reviews and have tried a few other products on Amazon. They are all basically the same. IKEA carries shelf liners and theirs are definitely a bit thicker and higher quality overall. But for the money I'm very happy with this product. I got a 20 foot roll, and used it to line my glass fridge shelves, and plastic door bins. It cuts easily, but you definitely need sharp scissors. There's a certain toughness to the material. It fits nicely and lays down flat on the shelves. To get it to lay down I lightly misted the shelves with water, then put the mat down. The very edge, so about 1.5" has a slight curl up, maybe 1/8" of space because of the memory of the roll shape it arrived in. I've run into the same issue even with the thicker IKEA rolls. But out fridge is full so the items on that side keep it flat. Maybe over time it will lay down completely. Either way it works great. The little disc pattern is perfect and uniform and looks really slick on the shelves.

WE had a water hose leak across the bottom shelf of our kitchen cabinet. After removing and replacing the wood, we searched for the perfect liner. This roll was large enough to reline all of the cabinets in our kitchen with a little left over for the bathroom cabinet. Quick and easy and secure. Love the way it looks, too.

It’s very sturdy and definitely waterproof but first off it’s very difficult to cut. I tried scissors first then a box cutter then a paper cutter with the arm with a blade. All were barely adequate to make a clean cut. Second point….difficult to flatten. I tried all the recommended methods. Still doesn’t lay flat. And if I lift off something on the end it tries to curl up again. Maybe super glue would work but don’t want to use that on my cabinets. I will go back to one of the traditional shelf liners.
