I bought one of the real one of these in France years ago, it eventually died. This one looked promising as a replacement but turned out to be almost useless.We have good tap pressure but this thing doesn't reverse direction as it's supposed to, just sticks at one side until you prod it. There are times it doesn't even rotate at all, there is just too much friction in the mechanism for it to work properly. I tried greasing it up, still no better.

I have tried lots of sprinklers for the graden before and have found these the most effective for me.Pros -Great coverage - You can keep this on a 360 setting and it will spray the water far and wideDurable - It is made of petal with some plastic and is very durableDistance adjustable - Can adjust the distance it covers and the angles it covers.ConsNeed a spanner to assemble - Not a huge deal except I have lost my spanner.Good water pressure essential - If you don't have good water pressure this isn't for you. It wont work properly and wont manage to turn. So you will have one tiny strip of well watered grass and nothing else.Would recommend if you have good water pressure.

Yes the quality is not amazing, cheap metal and I imagine would bend easily if used in stony ground, but when used in normal grass works very well - Excellent coverage and easy to link multiple sprinklers.I had read some previous reviews that state this won't do a 360 spray, it will. There are 2x metal stops that you can adjust to create any spray area below 360 degrees, these get hit by a sprung lever that changes the sprinkler direction. Just lift this sprung lever upwards and it will miss the stops and go a full 360.For the price this is a great product.

Bought this sprinkler after reading reviews, good and many bad.Thought I'd give it a try and being from a mechanical background maybe I could make it work.Unfortunately like many other reviews the issue of the sprinkler not returning from the right hand stop position was present.This is caused by the return trip spring being too strong to overcome the resistance present.Normal UK water pressure is not strong enough to overcome this resistance.Some households may be lucky and have higher that average water pressure and therefore don't encounter this issue.The only function it is useful for is if you want full 360 degree coverage and therefore don't require the return trip function.Wouldn't bother buying as more than likely will be returning it for a refund just like o have.

This is by far the best sprinkler I have tried, and I have purchased a few different ones lately in an effort to water a new lawn. I tried ones from Hoselock, Gardena, plus a generic one I was given for free, but none were good enough. This one has much higher range and you can adjust the spraying pattern in several ways (concentrated beam for even longer distance or mist for uniform watering at a slightly shorter distance). I can water my entire garden of 8m x 11m with changing only two positions (this will depend on your water pressure though). It comes without instructions in the box but they are shown in the pictures of the Amazon advert. The flap controls the range and creates some mist, the screw pin creates a stronger mist effect, lift the pin at the back to make it rotate 360 degrees, and there is another part near the base that has to be set to one side otherwise it will not rotate. Once you get to grips with its operation, it will do exactly what you want and what it is made for.
