Will this control box work with a 1.5 hp Grundfos submersible pump that requires both start/run capacitors?

As Grundfos offers more than one type of 1.5 HP submersible pump, I'll need the Grundfos model number before I can answer that. I realize you won't want to remove the pump from your well. Our deep well submersibles are supplied with an extra label and our customers/installers are advised to apply the label to the fuse disconnect box. I suspect Grundfos does the same. Please take a photo of the label. If the pump label isn't available please provide a photo of the control box label itself. Can you contact the Red Lion Technical Support Line at 888.885.9254 and they will provide an email address to send the photos.

will this work with a 2 wire pump

I don’t think so as a two wire pump if I remember correctly is 110 volt and this controller works on a three wire 230 volt pump.
