McAlpine Universal Flexible Waste Connector 1 1/4 32MM for Flexible Trap Fitment

Needed to get rid of is double u bend in the vanity unit. This did the job perfectly. Its flexibility made it easy to fit from the waste to the waste pipe and creat the U bend.

I used it to replace a rusted metal waste trap within tight space. It fit well. A bit expensive for what it is, hope it would last long.

Fit perfectly for under the sink in the bathroom. Just had to cobble it together with some other pipes for the right connection. Better than some of the others we've tried.

This does work and allowed for me to connect my sink waste to the exit pipe but the issue I found with it is that it clogs too easily. The biggest problem is that the ridges that make the middle part flexible builds up scum and crap on it very quickly so the drain suddenly becomes clogged a lot sooner than you realise. I’ve had to remove and clean it a few times already to return the flow back to normal. The ridges are also of thin plastic, so I have had a small split occur while using it, probably from all the hot water and cold weather causing it to split a little on the seam. I have managed to seal it back up with silicone but really this should only be used if you have no other choice. Try and choose a trap without ridges in it if you can
