First of all I think this product is an upgrade from the stock Astro provided cable. I have the Astro A40tr And they fit and work great. The cord is a different as this replacement has its cord braided but I prefer this 100x more than the default Astro Cable because my issue with the Astro cables were that it would get tangled often. Overall I prefer this product and it has so far been great.

This is a good product for what you pay for, it has good sound quality, the mute function doesn't crackle when activated which a lot of other cables do, and it is affordable.

These were a perfect replacement for my original headphones. My cat has an unfortunate habit of biting through cord and wires when she is bored; she bit through the wire of my headphones the week i got them. I was able to find these and they work perfectly. I’m very happy with them.

This cable is lighter, and functions like the original- however one function it doesn’t have- it does not turn the Lights on the A40 mix amp red when muted like the original. Sleeved, lightweight cable is nice- but the visual confirmation of the Mute was nice and will be missed. Probably going to buy an original to regain this function. if you don’t care about that, this cable will be perfect

Gets the job done for my headset. Great durability. Have been using this for almost a year and work fine.

The boyfriend ended up rage-quitting and broke the stock cord for his A-40s... so I got him this cord and he loves it! He does complain here and there about the audio coming through being "static," but it sounds perfectly fine with my controller. I think his jack-port needs cleaning lol... Would recommend 110% 😁

This cord is decent but definitely isn't as good as the original astro cords. The sound transmission is weaker so I had to turn my volume up, the mute switch is very stiff and does not change my mix amps color to red when muted like the original. However, it's less than half the price of the Astro cords so you get what you pay for.

The quality of the cord was fine. I ordered it for my PS4 to connect to my headset. There are only 3 - pole connectors. You need one 4 pole to access the mic.
