I replaced all the old rusty ones and they worked well.

Used to make a special fixture that held a metal screen for sifting dirt. Screws didn't require predrilled holes in ash wood. Not recommended for use in very hard woods like maple or maple. Worked great for my purpose.

The thread are not 1/2 inches long. It’s more like a 3/8. I had order other similar black screw with 1/2” and it’s actually 1/2” on the thread.I use it to mount in my Subwoofer grille and handle. It works ok.

Could not have asked for a nicer product. It came just in time.

These screws are nice and sharp. They self drill very well.

I can’t find black screw at Home Depot and Lowe’s, that’s why I bought it on amazon.The quality is great . I think the package should be improved.

They did well not so much self-tapping hard maple kind of wore some out. So you do have to pre-drill. Lost about 50% which is not too good out of 100.

Good strong screws for walnut wood

When I first got these screws they were great, no issues. I got them because of the "anti-rust" feature. I was using them in my PVC enclosure for my ball python to mount decor to the sides. Ball pythons require high humidity so I wanted something that looked sleek and wouldn't rust. Suddenly out of no where all of them in his tank rusted out pretty bad. Immediately went and got stainless steel screws since I didn't want him coming into contact with the sudden rusted out screws. They work pretty good for holding things, but, if you're looking for something rust proof just save yourself the hassle and buy stainless steel screws.
