Good camera for Xprotect. Runs hot.
This is a beautiful camera, heavy and apparantly well made. Was able to use built in Xprotect driver and it recognized it instantly. The default ip address was 192.168.1.64 and the address can be changed in the configuration.Xprotect had no trouble with max resolution and in-camera motion detection. H.265 and H.265+ were easily and instantly recognized. Does NTSC & PAL modes. It is >100degree field, but theres a setting in there to unwrap the image. After leaving it on overnight, the camera very hot to the touch. I'm not sure if this is normal, but it feel excessive to me.Do they all run so hot?

Great night color image, 2 out of 7 have failed within 6 months but replaced quickly by the seller
These cameras do have a great full color image under very low light conditions. They do not have any IR capabilities in full darkness. I have also had 2 of the 7 cameras I purchased fail in less than 6 months. The failed cameras do seem to still work if powered with a separate 12 VDC supply but no longer work with POE. Am going to try to make a warranty claim.Edit:After posting my review I was contacted almost immediately by the seller wanting to make good on the problem. They have shipped 2 replacement cameras. Their responsiveness and immediate offer to replace the cameras is most appreciated.Edit 2:I received the replacement cameras in just a couple of days after communicating with the seller. GREAT customer support!

Dahua makes good cameras
I found Dahua cameras to be an excellent value for the money. We have over 200 Dahua cameras in production. In terms of the latest upgrade, my perception is that the change in feature set is marginal. Since the cost is the same or lower, I have no problem "upgrading" to the latest iteration. For us, we are not using the highest resolution on these cameras but a slightly lower resolution in order to achieve a higher frame rate. Depending on where you put the camera and what the lighting conditions are, you might want to enable WDR as it is off by default. WDR can make a world of difference in contrasting lighting conditions (part of image very bright, part of image very dark). I found these cameras to be more reliable than others in the same price range. I also like the hardware reset button, very useful for forgotten passwords.

Great oem camera
Have done several setups with this camera without any issues image is clear day and night with better video at night if the area is somewhat lit at night. Would recommend will plug and play with dahua branded NVR.

Doesn't include AC adapter.
Package came beat up, and didn't include an AC adapter. Didn't see anywhere on product description that mentions this. Not everyone has a POE switch or router.

Solid POE Camera
I bought this after using the previous generation of the Dahua camera which is a model 4431. This camera is easy to setup using the Dahua Toolbox software, it took about 5 minutes and then was ready to put it into its final location. Night vision is very good, one thing to note is that the night vision is very sensitive to the IR light reflection, maybe more so than the previous versions. I have two cameras under my deck that are pointed diagonal so I can see in a X pattern, the problem that creates is the IR from the 'other' camera. I put a small piece of cardboard to block the opposite cameras IR lights. problem resolved. I CAN see about 70 foot in the dark in each direction clearly. so far very pleased with this camera.

Fill With Water
Worked great with my Hikvision system, took 2 years to fill with water and then fail. Buy a real Hikvision, screw these knockoffs! I have been in the business of fire/security/CCTV for 30 years, and won’t mess with any of these anymore. I have real Hikvision cameras that have been on my home since 2015, still look as good as the day I installed them. If you want to save a little money and don’t care how long they last, this camera is for you.

It is good camera but without any support.
It is a great and affordable camera if you know what your are getting. These are unbranded oem camera from dahua. It doesn’t come with any support or update but the fully licensed version is $130 so you need to make the decision on which version to get.
