Argon Tableware 3x 1000ml (1 Litre) Clear Glass Storage Jars with Black Airtight Silicone Seal and Metal Clip Lids - 33.8oz Large Empty Kitchen Jar Container

I bought these to make pickled veggies, they are perfect as the seals really are juice proof and you can turn the jars upside down without worry. The recipe I use is a 3,2,1 refrigerator pickle. I put carrots, cauliflower, onions, peppers, cucumber and radish, all all sliced and chopped to similar sizes. The 3,2,1 part is 3 parts water, 2 parts white vinegar, 1 part sugar and 1 tsp salt, I used a cup measure to make enough juice for 2 jars, so 3 cups water, 2 cups vinegar, 1 cup sugar and 1 tsp salt. Warm the jars in hot tap water and pack with the raw veggies fairly tightly. Heat the brine to boiling point then pour over the veggies, allow to cool for about 10 mins then seal and store in the fridge. Try it, they are delicious and will be good from the next day up to 2 weeks in kept in the fridge.

Bought these to store juices as needs to be air tight. Was a bit weary as we're at the cheaper end but very much not the case, box they came in was much higher quality and all arrived unmarkedThey jave been prefect, even holding seal during transport on their side/upside down! (not an intentional test(Extra seals for each will be handy long term, very easy to clean although I don't out the seals through the dish washer they're holding up well

I love these storage jars and they were fairly good value for money although the first ones arrived smashed so I gave them back to the courier who was able to send them straight back without opening the box. I was refunded and it wasn't a problem. I ordered them again and they turned up fine.What I want to add here about these is that they don't just come with the standard orange seals.I changed mine for the clear ones but if you look in the photo you will see there are also Orange, White and Black spare seals which is a great idea if I ever need those or want to change my colors again.Great storage jars. I do love them.

I primarily use these for drinking out of.I put water from the tap into one and put it in the fridge for cold water (that then goes into my flask in the morning) and I tend to use another for morning coffeeOne is currently storing a soup I made, also in the fridge.Overall I'd say they are really good, I'm quite clumsy (Dyspraxia) and they have withstood me banging them into each other, the lid on the body and a small drop into sink, so they seem sturdy enough. Just don't drop them from high! Who know what they could stand.
