MOJO Outdoors Dove Live Action Kit

Been eyeing this for the last year, wondering if it was worth it or just another hunting gimmick. Pulled the trigger on it and decided I'd give it a shot for one of my 3 Mojos in my Dove spread. On and off wind today, and it worked as advertised, moving with the wind every so slight, lot overly wobbly that makes the movments unnatural and also gives a couple inches more of elevation to your Mojo as well. The top (female end) is a snug fit, the bottom (male end) however is rounded. Which is my only complaint, because the Mojo stands are square; not round. So you are literally putting a round peg in a square hole. Think it would be a better design if it was square and not be as hard to get out of the foldable stand so it can be packed away at the end of the hunt as I hunt public land and don't leave my stands up on a lease or anything like that. If ya set it up and leave it, the round peg might not be so bad then I suppose

I ordered one of these to try out. The wind makes a big different as to how they move, but they work. The only thing I can say negatively is the stake has to be anchored very well so it stays straight up and down. If it leans to one side it has little to no movement so next time I will take a hammer with me. I do like it because even a slight movement is better than a stationary bird so I bought two more and will probably but some more later after I get them out in the field.

I’ve been using Mojo products for several years. The claim of moving with the slightest wind didn't hold true. The Mojo dove decoy is still great. When paired up with a small set of ground decoys and a good dove call, I’ve been able to prove to my hunting partners that a proper decir set and a call will put birds right where I want them.

Wasn’t sure what to expect adding this to my dove tree. The big perk to me is that I’m not constantly adjusting the direction to face into the wind with every wind shift. The wind will move it automatically to face the ideal direction. I want to say I see more birds than I did on the stake it came with but I believe I spend more time hunting and not walking into the spread and pushing birds away that that is why I’m seeing more birds than before. Either way it’s a huge bonus to set it and forget it now.

I feel like the the bearing wasn’t as smooth after pushing my Roto duck into the square portion of it.

I need this part for another recent purchase decoy. This adds motion when it’s windy to my mojo decoy.

Device does not rotate as expected. Simply sits there. Not a good fit to the exdisting dove tree----needs to ne taped to increase thickness so it doesn't fall out
