I used this to clean the evaporator coil in an air handler located in the attic of my rental house. The evap coil was heavily gunked up and covered with pieces of fiberglass, which probably went up the return ducts during construction.I used a battery powered (and well cleaned) weed sprayer from Harbor Freight to apply the cleaner and then to rinse. The sprayer worked well with just enough pressure to make a good strong spray. It made a mess but not the cleaner's fault, it was doing its job. There was just so much dirt that came out that the condensate drains plugged and I had to deal with the accumulation of cleaner and rinse water running into the air handler. Wet/dry vac took care of that.Coil came away bright and shiny, hard to believe it had been in service for 15 years.So good product it is just a pain in the you know what job in a hot attic. Could never have gotten that evap coil clean any other way while it was in place. Glad to get it done, don't want to do that job again!Good stuff.

Worked like a charm. Put it in a garden sprayer, hosed down the outdoor unit, then went in for a coffee. After about 30min, I brushed the coils with an A/C brush, combed out the bent vanes, and rinsed it off with the garden hose.A tremendous amount of desert sludge poured out from the coils. Nearly instantly the A/C was working better, staying on for shorter time periods. Noticed a $10 savings on power in each of the following two months, which is anecdotal, but I take to mean it was really getting inefficient being so dirty.Well worth the time and money to do it. The gallon jug will easily last through two more cleanings, as I only used a third for the one cleaning.

This product really works. This summer I cleaned my mini split condensers after the cottonwood trees did their thing. I just used a hose and water. Took forever!I did some research and found this product. I went to clean the condensers again before winter sets in. Sprayed this stuff on the could, let it sit for 5 minutes, and then spayed it off with a hose. The dirt and caked on debris came off so much better and easier. This stuff is amazing!I'm not being paid for my statement. I'm not affiliated with the product other than I own it.

[Essential Values AC Evaporator & Condenser Cleaner] First I removed the outside grill panels and noted how they interlocked with each other. Then I used a shop vac and carefully removed the tree debris and obvious dust. I used a battery powered pump sprayer and mixed the cleaner 1:7 as per instructions. This was much easier than using aerosol cans of foam cleaner which I have done with previous cleanings. The wand easily covered the entire insides in a minute without my face & arms being too close. I also applied the solution to the outside. Note that I didn't have any grease or oil type film but rather pollen, road dust, grass clippings and tree debris. When rinsing, I saw the runoff water was very dirty and the fins looked shinier. I did my homework and watched many videos and now I'm confident I can perform this task every few years as needed.
