Fantastic Book
As in a biology lab, throughout, Anxiety… I’m So Done with You, Jodi Aman dissects ANXIETY!Her work- book format, keen professional knowledge and clear writing style seems to immediately develop a trusting relationship with the reader. Jodi itemizes the physiological effects of this cunning and insidious condition, which is threating many teens (as well as adults), today. She then precedes to deflate its “hold” by giving sound advice through examples from her twenty- year practice, documentation by other professionals along with her own writings, videos and blogs. I especially like the fact that Jodi gives exact words to address one’s anxiety, which then becomes a bridge until she/he leans personal power. I also feel that the Appendix for parents, is an invaluable resource, while they go through anxiety’s cunning clutches with their teens.Since this valuable book was written during this 2020 pandemic, when much of the world feels frightened and out of control, I believe, it is relevant and greatly needed. As soon as I started the first chapter, I thought of four family teens who would benefit from this great book, and I immediately made the purchases. However, I also see Anxiety … I’m So Done with You, as a great educational tool and would hope that it could be given to all middle and high school students, as a valuable part of the curriculum. Perhaps then. we might see the grips of anxiety erased before they even start!I would wholeheartedly recommend this book. KUDOS to Jodi Aman!Carolyn G. Walsh, M.Ed.

Just when we need it most!
Jodi Aman's book, Anxiety...I'm So Done with You, arrived just when I needed it most. Navigating the Pandemic with youth in my home, outside of the home family members, and with students has increased my desire to both understand anxiety better and support those who are struggling with it. The night before the book arrived was particularly challenging as I supported my 12 year old niece who lost her father suddenly in the past year and was requiring more support than usual. Jodi's book provided such valuable insight into all the lies anxiety tells people and the patterns of coping it sets up. Then it provided so many opportunities to learn new ways to cope and adjust one's power over it. The questions, comments, worksheets, and graphics all appeal to youth. After I read my copy, I sent a copy to my niece. She was excited to receive it. After a couple of days, I asked her if she was reading it, she quickly exclaimed, "Yes, I love it!" Thank you, Jodi, for writing such a user friendly book for youth and adults. I look forward to using this resource often!

Effective and Fun To Read
I have been following Jodi online for years, effectively applying her guidance and ideas to my personal and professional life with pleasure and success. With her previous work in mind, this latest book did not disappoint. Jodi uses language, emojis, and scenarios – as well as suggests videos on her website, that teens will invariably be able to find relatable. She validates the many common anxieties that most teens experience and provides down-to-earth explanations for general anxieties. Jodi provides realistic approaches to help teens manage anxiety, break through procrastination, let go of stressors that are out of their control, and increase confidence in their ability to handle and work through what may have previously been intimidating emotions and thoughts. Although it is aimed at the adolescent demo, I truly believe its concepts and exercises to be applicable to all age groups.

The title says it all.
I like the concepts in this book as anxiety being a big bully who is trying to convince that you are not enough and you can’t do anything without being a sick and helpless little thing. I found it to be empowering in my students who were truly tired of the anxiety cycles they were caught up in. A couple of the chapters weren’t as clear to them, and didn’t make as much sense, but we decided that was because they hadn’t experienced anxiety at that level. The chapters that made sense to my students made a lot of sense to them and helped them realize how they were trapped in anxiety by the fear and control anxiety itself has on them, and the lies that anxiety whispers in one’s ear to keep one helpless. Good book.

A Must Have for Parents, Teens, Teachers, and Homeschoolers!
Jodi's original book was something that changed my life. It inspired me to not only finally take hold of my anxiety and take my power back, but also motivated me to become a coach myself and help others in the way that Jodi's book has helped me. I wish my kids had this book when they were early teens; the way the material is presented is easy to understand but still thought provoking and empowering. I could definitely see this book being used in a homeschool curriculum, youth groups, and even the classroom in schools. If we can educate and empower our kids now, it will save them a world of problems in the future as they grow and navigate life as young adults.

Practical and engaging book for teens and adults in turbulent times
This book on shifting your relationship with anxiety was written for teens, though definitely helpful for adults or even parents of kids with anxiety. It’s smart. Relevant. Has engaging and vulnerable stories. And perhaps most importantly, practical solutions that support getting out of anxiety even while living in a complex world that in some ways gets more challenging to navigate by the day. The built-in workbook personalizes everything.I learned a lot about what’s underneath anxiety, how it gets triggered and stuck, and how to reclaim my power and take back control. I loved that it referenced Jodi's free online videos too. If you or a teen in your life want to navigate the world with more peace and happiness, this book is highly recommended.
