Must have for cruising and snorkeling!!
We bought this bag to take on our recent cruise. In the past my husband and I would take turns in the water so that one of us could keep up with our passports, money, camera, etc., and keep everything dry. Not this trip! I snorkeled-while attached to this bag- for 7 hours without any issues. It made for a much more relaxing day! This is what makes this bag valuable for water lovers:*Simplicity of use. Turn all four knobs to lock position, and the bag is sealed. That's it. Plus, if all the locks aren't engaged the top of the bag appears open so that you are aware that the seal isn't complete.*Lightweight. After figuring out how to make a loop with the strap (thanks to my hubby's great common sense) I placed this bag over my shoulder, dove in, and snorkeled away. The bag floated level with my back. I also carried it into port and never felt it was cumbersome or distracting.*Great design. The bag stayed behind me, was never in my way or even really noticeable. I place it over my snorkel vest and promptly forgot it. I also like the mesh pocket for sunscreen, seashells, sea glass, and whatever else I may pick up while in the water and have nowhere to place in my swimsuit. :) I also use it for my kayak trips now to have a dry place to store my cell phone, snacks, ipod, etc. It's super useful.I would definitely recommend this bag for swimmers, snorkelers, kayakers- all water lovers. As anyone that has spent much time with water sports knows- a dry bag is something that you always need!

Cool concept but....
I bought this item for a snorkeling trip in Playa Del Carmen in Mexico, and was so excited for this item. I haven't used it yet, but did do the bubble test and dunked the entire bag in the tub - it worked flawlessly. Love how this thing is SEALED. Unfortunately though - the picture is a little deceiving . The photo makes it look like a sling - where you can put this thing around one shoulder and this sits on your back. This is not the case though. The strap provided DID NOT fit on the hole designated for the straps. There is only 1 hole at the top - and this is where you will clip both ends of the strap to. So, instead of one end of the strap at the bottom of the bag, and the other end on the top of the bag - BOTH ends are clipped on top of the bag. To make matters worst, the hole designed for the clip was too small. My options were to drill a bigger hole - risking puncturing the bag or option 2 (which is what I did) was to put a key ring around the hole and clipping the end to the the key ring instead of the hole designed on the bag. It was a headache - but the bag itself is great - just not a fan of the strap and where the strap is positioned.

Loved it!
My husband and I went to the Domincan Republic and we needed someting we could put our things in to keep them safe in the water. I did a lot of internet research and this seemed to be the best. I used it and everything was perfectly fine. I used it in the speed boat, snorkeling and even just playing in the ocean. It was the perfect size to hold my cell phone, digital camera, passports, extra sunblock, sunglasses, among other small things--it is about the size of a crossbody purse. It floats and dries really fast, een in sper humid conditions. The only thing I would suggest is that if you're going to have electronics or paper in the bag, I suggest you either put them in plastic baggies or add those silicon packets (can be bought from boating/watersport sites/stores)--I used ones that came in boxes of new shoes, as condensation can build up inside the bag. I learned this from a watersport web site. Overall, everything was kept dry, and I would d Kwik Tek Dry Pak Multi-Purpose Nylon Case (9-Inchx12-Inchx3-Inch) efinitely recommend this product.

Don't expect to fit your clothes in this one
I was supposed to go fishing on a neighbor's boat. So I got this just in case of emergency to keep my clothes in, Phone and other pocket items however its not big enough for all of it.. You'd be lucky to fit a tank and shorts in with an extra pair of underwear in this one.Otherwise its a legit name, and does its job as it should. I've tested it (at least in my tub) One of these days I'll have throw a piece of paper in it and see if i can get it in some deep water.P.s. if I remember right I think it is supposed to float as well

Boat worthy!
Best feature for me is that along with being a waterproof bag, it is padded. As a nature photographer I'm hiking and kayaking with the least amount of equipment possible. Water proof is a must, but padding adds more protection for my equipment and comfort for me.

First bag defective, second lasted just a few trips
This product failed the bathtub test the day after it arrived. The sealing mechanism at the mouth of the bag seemed to work well enough, but the bottom of the bag was not sealed properly at the factory, and water was leaking into the bottom on both sides of the bag. Upon examination, I could see that the bag was gaping slightly at one of the bottom corners of the bag. I asked for a replacement. I was afraid that I would not be able to take it on my trip, as I was leaving in just a few days. But Amazon sent the new bag immediately without charging me extra, even before I was able to send the old bag back. It had no leaks and worked fine and arrived in time for my snorkeling trip in the Florida Keys. It is roomy for keeping multiple items. But I am disappointed in the net outer bag--a previous bag I owned (a model made by Sealpak, now discontinued) had a cinch strap so you could tighten the net outer bag up and keep things like a waterproof camera and keys there. Such items would slip out of the mesh area of this bag, so I haven't used the mesh bag like I'd expected to.2012 update: After a few snorkeling vacations the bag continued to keep things dry, but the hole that the strap attached to broke through. Now I cannot take it snorkeling any more, as I cannot tie it to my person anymore! I suppose it would be ok for canoeing or kayaking, but I really wanted it for snorkeling. I am in the market for a new bag. I can no longer recommend this product.

Sent defective item, has potential though
I ordered this for a trip to Florida. I had less than three weeks to get everything together. Unfortunately when this item arrived, it had a hole in the bottom corner of the bag. Due to the time constraint, I did not have enough time to re-order and have the item here before I left. I was disappointed because I think this really could have worked well! I ordered a Dry Pak clear case as well which I am keeping and will test for my trip. I wanted to pair them together for super protection for my camera while on the water.Instead, I will be buying a disposable waterproof camera while on vacation.
