The Magic Thief: Lost (Magic Thief, 2)

I felt this book was unique in the books that followed the Harry Potter series. It was a fun read, a well written unusual and imaginative story that I really enjoyed. "The Magic Thief" could be a stand alone book. I have now ordered the second book in the Magic Thief series "Lost".

This book was amazing but I hate the part where Conn got exiled.

I haven't finished this book, but fell in love with the first book. I am only on the first chapter, and love how the book picks right up where the first left off.I am 35 year old, and wanted a series to relax at the end of the night. Even at my age I feel like a kid again when reading this talented author.

We listened to the Magic Thief as a audio book on a car trip, and the whole family was into it. We actually stopped at 3 bookstores looking for the second book so we could keep going before realizing we had forgotten the magic of the kindle download. We've really been enjoying the book. It's a bit darker than the first one, but not too much. It really feels like things are amping up for Con and the gang and the stakes are higher. We're almost done and my kids are already asking to get the 3rd book. Good stuff.

I had purchased "The Magic Thief" and "The Magic Thief: Lost" at the same time so I was able to go from one book to the next-I loved the story line and had a real interest in what happened to Conn and the gang. I'm just now starting "The Magic Thief: Found" and so far it lives up to the other two books. The characters are well developed and have well written interaction with each other-I can picture the events and locations in my mind and I'd be comfortable letting my children read these books as well. Truth be told I purchased these books for myself!

I purchased this series for my son who just turned 13. He has devoured the first two books and can't wait to begin the third. The story and characters are well thought out and keep readers engaged in the mystery and magic from start to finish. As an adult I look forward to reading the books myself based on my son's enjoyment.

Very enjoyable teen reader. If you enjoy magic and getting into trouble you will enjoy this series.

The Magic Thief series by Sarah Prineas is one of those stories for young readers that also appeals to adults - especialy those who are stressed and looking for something light and entertaining. It is very well-written and the characters are well-drawn. Prineas has built an interesting world that deserves further exploration.

Great story with twists and turns to keep you interested to the very end with believable plots and good characters. Light weight read that is easy to read as its not over complicated.

brilliant series - both my grand-daughter and myself enjoyed all of the series so far - hope there will be some more.
