great hose minimal kinking but strong

This worked with one huge caveat - buy the washers. Little rubbber washers that fit in the ends.The hose arrived with at least one end having no washer in it.So when I hooked it up and turned it on about 1/4 of the water was splattering out of the end.I had seen otehrs recommend washer though and so I order them.When I put a washer in it fixed the problem 100%I also experienced the 'kink' from shipping - however this was easily fixed. It was also 'coiled', not 'kinked'. The fix to this was to lay the hose out in a straight line and then 'spin and turn' one end to undo the loops. Sorry, kinda hard to explain but you need to rotate the end clokwise or counterclockwise (you see the coils increase or decrease plus the wrong way gets harder).So once _this_ was off the way...The hose is great./ Definitelky heavy-duty and doesn't kink (once initially unrolled as above).Is a little heavier than my medium weight one I was replacxing but I also expected that so it wasn't an issue for me.In the end it works great.

I've bought two of these hoses and so far, they have worked very well. I've had one about 6 months and the other about 1 month. They don't seem to kink. This is not a cheap, lightweight hose. Has good material, a little on the heavier side as it is a commercial grade hose. The only wildcard I can't speak to is long term durability. I live in Phoenix and the sun here very intense. It'll be interesting what they are like after a couple summers. Overall, a good buy and cheaper than comparable hoses I checked out at Home Depot.

I use these as plumbing underground in my barnyard. I bury them between faucets. So far they are great and trouble free. Somehow I keep forgetting where they are, and inadvertently dig them up with tractor implements. They don’t hold up well under those circumstances! All my own fault. I recommend them underground where they are seldom disturbed. However sunlight and constantly relocating them as above ground hoses does cause deterioration in short order. Sunlight compromises and cracks the exterior quickly, and movement exacerbates the cracking of the outer layer. For the price, they seem to be the best I can find. Good hardware on them. The hose wears out before the hardware will.

The three hoses have been used for watering around our home in Florida. I bought all 3 during the early spring and gave them the benefit of the doubt (even though they were kinking up then) due to the cool weather. Now that I used all 3 during the summer, they kink just as easily now as in the spring. I think they are too stiff/rigid to avoid them kinking up when they are being pulled along the ground or being pulled around a corner of the house or somewhere else where there is an "edge". When it happens, I have to either go back and undo the kink or unwind the hose in a direction to undo the kink. Being that they are "commercial" hoses, maybe they are too "stiff or rigid" but at least their hose end coupling features are nice and sturdy. I'm still using them because they are the only ones we have but I may look for a different type of hose in the future when they need to be replaced????

This is the best hose I have ever found. No kinking!!! Very happy about this one.

Aluminum does corrode. I can't get connecting hose apart. Does kink when wrapped on hose reel. I was going to order another one. I paid $27 in 2019and price now is a whopping $65!!!

Gotta’ be honest, I really loved this hose. Tough, really long but don’t expect this “ no kink” hose stuff. Not so. Mine started kinking really bad about Sept... come Dec 2020 it was done. I tried fixing it but in the end just bought another hose at my local hardware store. In the end, my hose took a beating and lasted 2 years. Would I recommend- sure. Just know that it will kink eventually
