Outward Hound Squeaker Ballz Fetch Dog Toy, XS, 8-Pack

I bought this toy for my brother's dog, a big German Shepherd/Labrador mix. He didn't seem to care too much for the "game" part of it - getting the tennis ball out - but absolutely loves the toy. I was shocked at how durable it is, because while it seemed very sturdy in my human hands, his big doggy jaw could easily squeeze it, but it held up. There's something about the shape that gets him all riled up, he loves to toss it around and "hunt" it and then settle down to play with it. I think he likes that it's so big, it's hard for him to get his mouth around it to easily pick it up / tear it apart like his other toys, so maybe that's the "game" part for him.

Great purchase! These were delivered to me two days ago. I'm already ordering more. Okay, it's a set of four balls: three are currently frayed already, the red one won't survive today, and the yellow one is MIA. Because my two dachshunds are constantly playing with them!! They love them! They've lasted longer than many of their other toys I've purchased, so I'm really pleased with them. They are begging me to throw the balls more as I write this. So, they may not last us super long, but serve their purpose of lots of fun, entertainment and happiness! Did repurchase again and will repurchase again! And again!

My dog is obsessed with this thing. Whether I have other toys stuffed in it or not. I have a heavy chewer which is the reason for 4 stars on durability. He did chew some pieces off one side the first day he had it. But he also tears up all his toys. It is still VERY usable with the damage he did. Does not effect it in any way.

My little 18lb dog is delicate with her play, I was surprised after a short time playing with her ball, the ball seemed to be torn. My dog is not a rough player of toys so it's chalked up to being a little cheap. She does love them but I have to keep an eye on them and toss them if they fall apart more.

What can you say about a squeaky ball? Dogs love them, and a 4 pack is better. My dog loves playing with all kinds of squeakers, and can break them within a few minutes. With a 4 pack, you will always have a backup...unless your dog is greedy like mine and wants them all!A point of concern I have is, the squeaker is not internal. It is pushed in from the outside, and if the dog chews it, they may end up swallowing the part. The same goes for if a small child gets a hold of it. Half of the balls I received, had the squeaker protruding, as well.

These are small balls. I would not recommend these for bigger small dogs if that makes sense. My pup is a tiny 3.5 LB chihuahua and the ball does not fit inside of his mouth so I know he will not choke on them or have any type of injuries. The balls are softish so you can squeak with them with easy. I dropped all 6 of them for him and he went bananas. Get these if you need to keep your dog entertained. I recommend.

I bought these balls for my 12 pound Pomeranian… They could almost be considered too small for him… Perfect size for a small dog puppy… But keep these away from anything bigger than a small size dog… Very dangerous for medium/large size dogs to get a hold of.

Love these balls and the XS is prefect for small chihuahuas. The quality isn’t all the best and they won’t last long if your dog likes to destroy toys but, for the price they’re great toys my dog loves them.

My (small) dog was able to tear the fabric from these balls with ease, within moments. Had to throw away as not safe.

My dog had the squeakers out in no time

My 2 yr old Boston is squeaker-ball OBSESSED, and they're insanely had to find. The original place I ordered them from stopped shipping to Canada, and the Kong ones are so loud and shrill we couldn't stand them. These are the perfect compromise. They're actually sturdier and longer lasting than the ones we used to buy and the price point is perfect, since a lot of these end up rolling off our balcony (he sneeks them out there!).I was a little concerned by the external squeaker at first, but we've used 3 or 4 of these balls so far and none have appeared loose. However, like any dog toy, you should inspect it regularly to make sure there's no damage.I don't know why these balls don't have 5 stars overall. If your dog really loves squeaker balls, these are perfect! I hope Amazon never stops selling these balls.

All my dogs are small and I bought these balls for them.They fit their smaller mouths perfectly and they loved to play with them. The issue I have is with the quality. My dogs ripped the squeakers out within minutes and started chewing on them. They are a choking hazard. They do love playing with the balls still, even with the squeakers out. They were able to pull half the fabric off the balls within the day.If they made a version without the squeakers, these would be great. You could always take the squeakers out before you give them to your dog, but I would rather spend money on ones I don’t need to worry about.

These balls were exactly what we wanted size wise but thats about all in terms of good things I can say about these! The quality was poor the squeakers were popped out of the bottom, the adhesive was cracked and peeling exposing the inside rubber unusable... These are a choking hazard waiting to happen! Package went from the shipping box directly into the trash...
