Honestly pretty impressed with this. I was worried about the motor on it but it’s super effective and opens easily for my phone. It took me a few days to realize there’s a spot in the back you can touch to open it back up and take your phone out. It’s extremely sturdy in the CD slot, and holds my phone well. I live in a pothole crazy city so the bumps do sometimes cause my phone to tilt down, but it’s not loosened. Charges my phone pretty quickly. Overall I’m pleased with it!

Great mount including wireless charging. In cars I've had, in-car charging (even wired) is slow, sometimes just catching up with in-car phone use, but this one is faster than average and doesn't require me to plug cord into phone every time. Mount comes with hardware to mount over CD slot or air vent, and doc shows which vents it's incompatible with. I bought one for each of our two cars. For one the CD mount is perfect; for the RAV4 neither way works well: it fits, but no matter how or where I mount it, it soon falls off. I especially don't understand why the CD mount doesn't work on the SUV since it works so well in the Elantra and the CD slots look alike. I appreciate the motorized phone grip/release, and because of a small internal battery it works after I turn off the ignition. So many mounts are available now, even at dollar stores. I paid $30 each for this but still consider it a good value.

I originally posted the review below after my device stopped working. It turns out it was the adapter that was plugged into the outlet in the car. I took it off and the device is working perfectly! My apologies for the error. I still love it!!When I received this product and began using it, I thought it was great. I relied on it every day and looked forward to having it there every time I got in the car. Unfortunately, one year to the day that I received it, it stopped working. I don’t know why because I’ve never removed it from the place where it’s sat in the air vent and the manual has no information on troubleshooting. It was a great year, but I will not purchase another one.

After searching Amazon for a wireless car charger mount for my phone this was the only one that I could find that looked like it would be large enough. The pictures for this mount clearly show that it opens 4.1 inches wide. What they fail to mention is that is from outer edge to outer edge. My phone in it's case is 3.75 inches wide and does not fit in this thing. It only opens wide enough for a 3.5 inches wide phone and just barely makes it to 4 inches on the outer edges, let alone the 4.1 it says in the pictures. Never mind the fact that as soon as I plugged it in to power it just sat there and opened, closed, opened, close, opened, closed, till I unplugged it again. I do not recommend this at all, especially if you have a larger phone like I do. I couldn't even get my phone in it to see if it actually charges.

My 2017 expedition has those round vents and no phone holder really worked, also I know from previous experience that in the winter time the heater will make your phone overheat. I saw this cd Mount option and decided to give it a try. So easy to install, it is super stable. It’s so stable I even bought an extension arm to be able to angle the phone closer to me and it still holds great. Highly recommend this option.
