No O-Ring seal.
The plastic caps that come with new Auto Tires or Bicycle Tubes ( for Schrader valves ) are "Shipping Caps". They only serve to protect the stem from dust & damage. They do not provide a seal. If you want redundancy in your valve stem air seal, the valve stem isn't enough. You need a Cap that provides a backup seal over the valve stem. Redundancy & "Backup" systems add safety and reliability to equipment requiring regular maintenance. It's essential for Aircraft and desired for equipment that doesn't kill you when it fails. I had expected these caps to serve a dual service . . a tool for removing the valve stem and as a backup seal for a failed or contaminated/damaged or unseated valve stem. Instead, they only serve as a convenient tool for removing the valve. They are also easy to grip and turn. If you use tube/tire sealant, this makes removing the cap easier with gummed up threads on the stem. The down side is these caps collect and hold dusy & dirt Very well. If they had an O-Ring seal I'd have given them a 5 Star rating.

Great valve caps!
Bought these for my bicycle. Look great, nice & snug fit. Most valve caps (that I've bought), including the plastic ones that come with the tubes, have been loose & sloppy fitting. Always have to get them just right & hope they don't fall off. These are great!

Worked amazing to remove my stem cores on my chevy cobalt tires!
Have a set of winter tires in the garage on the wrong size rims for my car. These worked perfect to remove the stem cores!

Nice Caps
Great quality finish on the anodizing and they screwed on nice and smooth ..I’ll be buying some more of them in the future

Looks nice but does not seal
They look good but that is all the valve stem caps are good for because they do not seal as stated in product description if your valve cores have a small leak but I guess you can at least change the core with the cap. There is no rubber seal on the inside to prevent air from escaping.

Easy to torque
These work good, I tighten to seat against the v core nut and they work!
