I don’t use it for its intended use. I use it to clean out the groove on beehive frames. The angle and the size works perfect for that.

I purchased this to replace the window trim on my 1969 Camaro. This made the job a breeze and works great on front and rear windows. Definitely much better than trying to use a screwdriver or a homemade tool.

Worked ok, I had to modify the angle on the hook on one side to properly catch the clips. Not difficult or unusual in my experience.

I've only used this on a G body car (ie Buick, Olds, Chevy, Pontiac), and it did what I needed it to do. My windshield trim had some dings and wanted to remove them the right way. This tool is the right way to do it without damaging the windshield or scratching paint. You might break some clips but it has nothing to do with the tool, it just happens. Always have some extra clips on hand.

Bought this to remove windshield trim on a fox mustang. Only worked after grinding and reshaping the profile of the hooks and bending them to be able to grab the clips as needed.
