Awkward and ill-fitting, like jeans that aren't yours.
The price was right, so I ordered a set of four. They arrived quickly, but my experience turned downhill from there. This style (and this seller isn't the only one that offers these) fails to fit the hive entrance very well. The feeding platform is too low to properly fit most hive entryways, so it flops around and seems like it would fall out easily. The liquid reservoir is NOT threaded, nor does it have a perforated lid, requiring the keeper to remove the entire assembly from the hive in order to refill it. All the seller's images that show the feeder near a hive are photoshopped anyhow. Someone else mentioned that even 1:1 syrup is too viscous to flow from the feeder properly, limiting its utility to water-only (which I think they'd be good for). I don't think I'd want to clean sugar residue off all those little nubs on the feeding platform...so I returned them and ordered some that actually fit in the entrance and have perforated lids so they can be refilled without removing the base from the hive. One of the rated features was "sheerness"...what the hell is that?!

Great feeders
So, I have been reading reviews and still decided to try them out and I am not sure what all the negative is . One complaining about bees climbing in and dying, not a single bee has made their way into the jars. Others have a problem cleaning.... ummm, hot water and soap . We have used water and sugar water with a 50/50 mix and have no problem with it dispensing . I did not get paid, or got a discount, this is just , what I experienced . I like them better, than the mason jar lids, that all started developing rust eventually , even though they are sturdier . At least these can`t rust .

Good water feeder
These feeders are solid great for water not so great for sugar syrup. I originally bought these for my syrup mixtures. It will not flow out on it's own even 1:1 is to thick to flow on it's own. If your looking for a syrup dispenser this is not for you.

Damaged on arrival now I will have starving bee's!
Just got them out of the box and one is cracked. No suprise it's cracked with how hard they are stuck together! In order to get new ones I have to get a refund. SO irritated!! I have bee's in a new hive and need to feed them but can't because I have to send them all back because one is cracked. Not happy!!

Maybe there's a trick to it.
I used these for syrup in hopes that it would provide more surface area for the bees to feed from when compared to jars with holes in the lid. I didn't try 1 to 1 but the 2 to 1 sugar didn't seem to want to flow all the way across the feeding station. The bees ended up piling up next to the container opening, competing for the syrup. Perhaps it will be better with a thinner product. It just didn't work quite as expected, and didn't solve the problem I was having of competition at the feeders.

Horrible design
These are not gravity waterers/feeders. You have to manually turn or press down the jars to get more liquid to dispense. Don’t waste your money.

physically impossible to separate cups
This product comes with 4 cups. The cups are rammed inside of each other so that in effect you have two cups with 4 bee stands. It is so remarkably stupid that they send these things out like this. There is no way to separate the double cups-absolutely no way. I ended up destroying two of them.

May be good for feeding water
I bought these for feeding sugar water. I don't recommend it for that. Sugar water is too thick to run when it's cold. It might work during the summer when you feed sugar at equal parts. But when you feed at two parts sugar to one part water and the cold weather it just doesn't work.
