Dangerous small parts came out instantly
My dog will only play with the mini balls that sqeak so I thought I would save a dollar or two and try these. I only tossed this ball for her four times and she managed to pull the plastic speaker out and start chewing on it. Small enough to swallow and cause problems inside her. These balls are not fit for dogs to play with. A significant safety hazard. The name brand ones have never come apart like this one. Anyway, it doesn’t make noise anymore so she won’t play with it anymore. Waste of money. Get the name brand ones. They last.

CHOKING HAZARD
MY YORKIE HAD THIS ITEM LESS THAN HALF AN HOUR BEFORE SHE MANAGED TO PULL THE SQUEAKER OUT OF THE HOLE AND SWALLOW IT! SHE BECAME SICK AND THREW IT UP! HAZARDOUS ! HAZARDOUS! CHOKING HAZARD! THE YELLOW ONE IS THE ONE THAT THE SQUEAKER IS GONE! YOU CAN SEE HOW THE SQUEAKERS ARE ON THE OUTSIDE AND EASY TO CHEW OFF OR PULL OUT! THIS IS DEFINITELY A HAZARDOUS PRODUCT! I WANT MY $$$ RETURNED EVEN THE SHIPPING! YOU SHOULD NOT BE SELLING SUCH A DANGEROUS PRODUCT! IT COULD KILL A LITTLE YORKIE puppy!😡😡😡😡😡

good alternative to kong
We've been pretty loyal purchasers of KONG air squeaker balls for years. Our Chi/pug mix is addicted to them. He usually removes the squeaker in five minutes, strips the ball of the outer covering, and then chews on that rubber inside for weeks. KONG recently changed the formulation of the inner rubber of their balls. It's now white and crumbles into tiny pieces after a short time of jawing. Not only did the substance of the ball change, but Kongs have a terrible smell now, too. They have quite a chemical smell now, and our little guy doesn't spend any time at all on them. So, in desperation (first world problems, I know!), I started buying other brands and just received these. Voila! Black/brown rubber inside, no terrible smell, and our chug is in heaven. He's like his old crackhead self with these! I'm going to stock up!

My dogs favorites! But read this carefully since he may be different from yours.
My dog absolutely loves these - they’re softer to squish and squeak than the Kong ones. In terms of durability, they last long if your dog doesn’t like to rip off the felt on purpose. It’ll withstand lots of bouncing. That being said, the reason my dog likes these over other brands is because he loves to rip off the fuzz and I get the small size (he’s a medium-sized dog, a beagle), so he can squeak it easier in his mouth than the medium size. So the felt material isn’t on as strong as other brands and he loves these for that. Once it’s off, the ball inside is rubbery and lasts long too. He still loves to play it once it’s down to this, but dust and miscellaneous crap sticks to it as he plays from it being in his mouth. It gets gross and the 4-pack means I have another spare to replace. I’m sure he’d keep playing with it until it’s down to tiny slivers if I let him. Plus, these are cheap enough we can switch them out.Overall, if your dog is like mine and likes softness, squeak-ability, and the ability to play with the felt on the outside, these are for you (your dog)! My dog is only 4 but I could see these for older dogs that need softer toys that bounce too.If you want a durable toy that’ll withstand rough play and strong jaws and last super long, this probably won’t hold up. It all depends on your wants/needs and your dog’s preferences.

Squeaker is not inserted properly, dog chews it and can choke.
So the whole purpose was to get a ball that squeaks. We were given our neighbors set of the same balls when we first got our puppy and they were great for months. We bought these to replace them and we're sad to see that the squeaker is mounted so that it protrudes, making the dog naturally want to nip at it. Both sets the old one and the new one were Outward Bound the same size balls. So after the puppy removed two of the squeakers, I tried to push the squeaker in, only to have it fall into the ball, never to squeak again. When the dog removes the squeaker, it's a chew choking and safety hazard.I called Outward Hound and customer service said to return for exchange or refund through Amazon. She stated that there was a production issue some time ago and these are probably from that old run. So, I reordered with my return and we shall see.

Don’t waste your money.
One didn’t squeak right out of the box. One lasted an hour before she cut into it with her teeth. I’ll stick to the kong brand. Twice the price but ten times the quality.Shame too, because I was excited for a different color than yellow!

Dogs love!
So far this ball is awesome! I usually have the Kong Squeakair balls for my pups and these are very similar but a bit more squishy. As for the longevity I will have to update the review later, they have lasted about 3 play sessions so far. We will see how long the squeaker works as well! Unlike the Kong version you are able to see the squeaker hole in the ball which makes me think it may pop out easier? But I will soon see. My dogs absolutely love tennis balls that squeak so if these last as long as the Kong ones I am sold!Edit: they are great! Very happy with these and will repurchase for sure!

They're Cheap - But the dog doesn't care
Update Sept 2020 - I Bought MORENot because they wore out, but because they just get too icky after years of DAILY abuse. He loves them, and they last longer than any other toy. So, we got him new balls for his birthday. These are still his favorite toys after all these years.Update Dec 9 2019 - Yep. These hold up, and the kong squeakers have all died. They are by far the dog's daily favorite toy. Changed to 5 stars. The Good:The Price! These are a fraction of the cost of Kong SqueakAir.They fit my 2" Crunch ball thrower better than the Kong. They are VERY soft, more so than Kong toys. VERY easy for my little dog to squeak. The Dog LOVES them !Four Colors !The bad:They do not appear to be of the same quality as Kong.Once of the squeakers sounds like a dying mouse.I am very happy with these, the dog is ecstatic.Only giving 4 stars because of the weak squeak. If these hold up to the daily dog abuse, I may update this review.

The perfect squeaker ball
My 2 yr old Boston is squeaker-ball OBSESSED, and they're insanely had to find. The original place I ordered them from stopped shipping to Canada, and the Kong ones are so loud and shrill we couldn't stand them. These are the perfect compromise. They're actually sturdier and longer lasting than the ones we used to buy and the price point is perfect, since a lot of these end up rolling off our balcony (he sneeks them out there!).I was a little concerned by the external squeaker at first, but we've used 3 or 4 of these balls so far and none have appeared loose. However, like any dog toy, you should inspect it regularly to make sure there's no damage.I don't know why these balls don't have 5 stars overall. If your dog really loves squeaker balls, these are perfect! I hope Amazon never stops selling these balls.

CHOKING HAZARD EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY!!!
These balls were exactly what we wanted size wise but thats about all in terms of good things I can say about these! The quality was poor the squeakers were popped out of the bottom, the adhesive was cracked and peeling exposing the inside rubber unusable... These are a choking hazard waiting to happen! Package went from the shipping box directly into the trash...

Choking hazard
All my dogs are small and I bought these balls for them. They fit their smaller mouths perfectly and they loved to play with them. The issue I have is with the quality. My dogs ripped the squeakers out within minutes and started chewing on them. They are a choking hazard. They do love playing with the balls still, even with the squeakers out. They were able to pull half the fabric off the balls within the day.If they made a version without the squeakers, these would be great. You could always take the squeakers out before you give them to your dog, but I would rather spend money on ones I don’t need to worry about.

Good quality and cute, but the squeaker can be bitten off by a small dog.
These little tennis balls are awesome. The XS (1.5") are perfect for my little Yorkie. He really loves them, and the squeaker on it is cute, not too high pitched and not extremely loud like some others. You can tell they are very well made once you feel them, they are thick and durable. The only thing I was worried about, like another reviewer, is the tip of the little plastic squeaker protruding. Before giving it to my dog I tried to pull it out to see how secure it was and it wouldn't budge, so I figured it should be fine. The only problem is my dog managed to bite off the little part that sticks out. Luckily, it is very small and he shouldn't have a hard time passing it, in the event he did.So that's my only warning to other small breed dog owners.I guess if you want to snip off that part before giving it to your dog, you can, but it will stop the squeaker from working.I gave these little tennis balls a good rating regardless because other than that, they are very well made and good quality. The only thing is if the squeaker didn't protrude, it wouldn't pose the risk of your dog biting it off.

Our Dogs just love these balls
We have a Shih Tzu and another that is a Shih Tzu mix who is around 25 lbs. They both love playing fetch with the balls but the bigger one is fussy on the size of the ball. These are about 1.5 inches in diameter and is perfect. The squeaker is a great added touch but its main purpose is to allow air to flow in/out of the ball as the dog bites and squishes the ball. The bounce is just right. In the house, the ball will get lost under your furniture so expect yourself to go on a hunt. So far there are no signs of wear.
