Ronco 20 Piece Knife Set, Includes Rocker Knife, Stainless Steel Knives, Includes 6 Steak Knives, Feature Full-Tang Handle, Professional Kitchen Knife Set

We bought these as a replacement for the same set we bought 20 years ago! Our original set was beginning to deteriorate after 29 years of dishwasher washes (yes, I know good knives are not supposed to be put in the dishwasher!)The new knives are very similar, but a couple of them have been slightly redesigned for the better. We are glad to have new, updated knives and do not regret our purchase at all. It comes with a knife sharpener, which will be needed for the chef knife because it wasn't as sharp as I had hoped, right out of the box.Full disclosure, we do have a separate higher quality chef knife that we use most of the time.The steak knives are a big improvement and are very sharp, they actually cut into our one cutting board, so I guess our cutting board is pretty crappy.I was also glad to have a new updated chop and serve knife which has been my favorite knife for 20 years.

My mom has this set she bought 15 years ago or so and we loved it. However I beleive Ronco went bankrupt and sold the company and now products are super cheaply made. I compared hers to the one I ordered a couple months ago for a gift and not even comparable. The metal was dull not shiny, the plastic was rough and cheap, there were water spots and scuff spots. Had to send them back and ended up getting a couple Henkels knives instead..... you get what you pay for

I purchased these knives thinking they were the same knives we bought many years ago. The original Ronco knives were very sharp and stayed sharp for a very long time. We only had to start sharpening them years later.These knives are a horrible copy of a once fantastic product. These knives are not sharp and they are new. I was going to return them because the set did not come with the famed Ronco Rocker knife but I decided to keep them thinking I’d just order the k ice that wasn’t included.What a mistake, the return time has ran out and so now my best option is to find a way to recycle them and try and find some actually good quality knives.

We have had a Ronco set for 14 years. The original set was great. We ordered these to replace the originals. THESE ARE HORRIBLE QUALITY!!! I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. BRAND NEW THESE DON'T HAVE AS GOOD OF AN EDGE AS THE 14 YEAR OLD ONES.

Knives were not sharp enough and quality was not as good as the original Ronco knife set I purchased years ago. I bought the whole set as I needed to replace 3-4 knives from original set I bought 20 some years ago. Knife handles had come apart Very disappointed. The weight of the new knives was flimsy and plastic handles. Don’t waste your money

I bought a Ronco knife almost 15years ago and it was very good quality and still as sharp today as it was back then. I was happy to find these knives on Amazon but when they arrived I was a little disappointed that they were not the same quality as before. They are still pretty good knives and a good value for the money but they are not as heavy as my old one and I’m not sure if the handles will last that long. If they came in a nice box then I could say “Giftable” but they came loose in the shipping box.

This is not the same as the original set that I purchased in the past as far as I'm concerned it's a poor excuse for a cheap knockoff I'm sorry but I won't bother to rate it SORRY! but I had to send it back

Literally couldn't cut a tomato without the blade just sliding off of it. I don't think I have ever owned a knife that is more awful than these. I was so disappointed they went into the trash can. My butter knife is more effective and they were from Walmart on sale.
