Had these out Quail hunting once and they DEFINITELY need to be broken in. Great solid foot and ankle support. Great traction on soft ground only which is 99% of where I am. Slipped all over the rocks. Elk tag tomorrow so looking forward to these keeping me warm.

Waterproof and warm for hunting

Very compact insulation. Boot is heavy as expected and is quite snug but I expect it will stretch in time.

This is my first pair of bearclaw boots, they fit great, a little tight the first time I've worn them (with wool socks). But I think once I break them in, they will fit perfect! VERY VERY WARM!!!! Very comfortable. Great traction. Great ankle support!

This is my second pair of Rocky boots. I am very pleased. I wore these during hunting season last week and they performed great in cold weather as well as wet weather. I was outside all day in temperatures ranging from the low 20’s into the mid 40’s. They kept my feet warm all day and are breathable so that my feet didn’t sweat. A great feature. However the downside is the wind chill brought temps down one day and I could feel my feet getting cold. It wasn’t a show stopper but I could tell a difference. My previous pair didn’t do that. All that said these Rocky boots are great for hunting in cold and wet weather. They hold up great to rugged terrain.

Like the traction warmth and the laces and eyelets. A narrow toe so I'm glad I went 13 wide for my 12 1/2 size standard boot.

Pretty disappointed in these. I was excited when I got them but that faded fast. Don’t know what goretex rocky is buying but not so good. She’s a leaker. Couldn’t even stand up to wet grass let alone an actual body of water. They were comfortable when I put them on which is why they got 2 stars. There may be some that are good, but I can’t roll dice like that. I put out the dollars for some insulated Chippewas and also the muck arctic pros. Couldn’t be happier. I run traps from November to April and the mucks cover that need. The Chippewas are my deer boots.

They are tight right now because they are new but hopefully after I wear them a little bit they’ll loosen up and fit just right,,but all in all I like them !!

My first pair of rocky boots and just loving them! These things are beasts, you gain at least a full inch in height. Given the beefy soul they are pretty stiff in the beginning. They fit as expected but just a bit narrow in the toe, I went half size up from my usual boot size, fits perfectly. Super warm, waterproof and amazing traction in most conditions, on smooth surface or ice these can be a bit awkward. Overall they really are very well made and quality. I will definitely buy another pair whenever these wear out. Made in the Dominican Republic and that's actually nice to see it's not too far off shore

Very comfortable and sturdy wear it in -17 c and walked and sit in the blind in snow no issues excellent quality will definitely refer this to anyone who is looking for nice ones

the boot looked fantastic could not slide foot into the boot .I normaly wear 9.5 and I ordered a 10 but no go.

Excellent traction on snow and ice. Toasty warm and dry
