Everybody knows there is play between the working hitch and receiver. When towing, there is a constant racket coming from the connection and it gets nerve wracking for long hauls. Previously used thin rubber washers or grommets to take up the space and prevent the working of the metal pieces, but when this clamp came into my life, it ultimately solved the problem by creating a strong grip between the pieces. I really like that it comes in stainless steel. Only wish that I would have thought of this solution so I could be a millionaire right now and not have to worry about work!!

I liked that this Anti-Rattle Stabilizer is designed to work either with the nuts on top, or below, the hitch. Having the nuts on top makes tightening them more convenient, but some setups might not have adequate clearance for the legs to point up. On the other hand, some setups might need them on top as there is inadequate ground clearance to have them on the bottom.I also liked that all of the components are stainless steel.I think much of the frustration and dissatisfaction of some reviewers is that they didn't keep two things in mind:1. Since all of the components are stainless steel, anti-seize compound must be used on the threads and between the nuts and washers, or galling will occur between the components and the nuts will seize. This is not a flaw in the design or materials, it is the nature of stainless steel.2. Steel will initially compress or stretch when placed under load. As such, nuts/bolts always need to be re-torqued at least once, and sometimes more, before they stabilize. Again, this is not a flaw in the design or materials, it is the nature of steel.

It said it would fit a 2 1/2 inch receiver, but it would not go over the flange. The quality was good.

Put two of them on, one from the hitch to a riser adapter, and another one from the riser to a bike rack. Both installed well and I like the design. However, in tightening down the nuts closest to the cross bar, one of the nuts on one of the U-bolts deformed and locked in place and can't be loosened or tightened. On the second U-bolt, BOTH the nuts closest to the cross bar deformed and are locked in place and will not loosen or tighten. Both are now junk. Read several of the other negative reviews. Multiple people have reported problem with the nuts/threads deforming.

No more hitch noise!

Just drove 3000 miles and not a sound works very well. Would recommend for flat towing.

Packaging was great so was the delivery. The instruction s were easy to follow. It did not stop the ratting.

The last anti rattle clamps bent when I put them on. These didn't bend and did the job. Perform like you should expect they would. For now they get a five. See what happens after a couple of hundred miles.

Saw one of these on another vehicle and decided to order. Couldn't be happier! Completely removed the constant noise of the rattling trailer hitch coupler. The fact that it's stainless steel is a no-brainer, never worry about it rusting.Highly recommend this product!!!

Stops the rattling but the threads on the u bolt are getting messed up will have to chase the threads quality seems to be lacking otherwise ok

These type of hitch silencers are the best. Easy to install and most important, they work. I wasted my money buying two others, a bent flat bracket and U bolt. I skinned my knuckles more than once attempting to get them tight enough to do the job. Don't waste your money on others, for the same amount, these are the best!!!

I installed Rock Tamers on my drawbar. However this didn't leave a lot of room to mount a hitch clamp.This hitch clamp seems very strong and the double nut feature should mean the nuts will not back off.It came 1 day earlier than I expected.I'm very happy
