Great shoe - but not for me.
After doing some research, this shoe is considered a "neutral" shoe. Meaning it is for someone with average to high arches, less than 185 lbs, and will help your foot "spring or roll to the outside. For me, it's way too much cushioning as my foot would wobble causing ankle and hip pain. I weigh 200 lbs and my foot already rolls too much to the outside; so I bought a shoe with "stability" (Asics GT-2000 -8) to keep my forefoot flat.

Forrest would like these :)
Updated Jan 2021:Same issue as the WaveRider 23... the inside left heel fabric tore open. There’s something going on with the heel flex point and the hard plastic “heel cup” where the fabric catches and tears. 😏 this hopefully gets reinforced/ fixed on the next gen design. I untie and loosen laces - so it’s not from me forcing my foot into the shoe.= = = = = = =Brand new to me this week. First couple runs = same perfect fit. I noticed these are a touch more narrow than previous models, but still a generous toe box with good flexibility... no rub spots. They feel good - as they should. Laces are short if you tie them with the back eyelet like I do - but that’s trivial. 5-star in my book. I’ll update this after additional mileage.

Walk/Run 12 hours a day
I spend 9 hours walking and running on concrete each day for my job, then I get home and walk 2 miles to run 3 at the track. These shoes are by far the worst running shoes I have ever tried. They may be padded but on your legs and back they are by far the worst. After day two of using them my body was in so much pain it was difficult to move at all. Even under armor shoes weren’t this bad “for reference under armor makes the second worst running shoe”.

Questionable quality on this generation. Mizuno honors warranty, though +UPDATE+
These shoes are so comfortable and were exactly what I wanted. Fit my feet well, had a decent upper that doesn't pinch the top of my feet and a comfortable toe box. I like they way they hit the ground when running and they really feel natural. Whoever *designed* the shoe should get a high-5.The shoes are manufactured horribly. Just like multiple reviews state, the uppers are tearing, the outsole's glue is failing on the tread and I'm tripping over the treads as they break from their glue.I weigh 170lb and have ran 47 miles in these shoes since purchased 6 weeks prior to this review.I would like to say that I emailed Mizuno USA and they honored the shoe warranty immediately. The company will keep my business for now, and I'll just hope they make some adjustments for the Wave Rider 25**UPDATE --It has been about 4 weeks since my replacements have arrived and I just noticed the same defect is starting to form in the replacement pair. Maybe I have weird feet because otherwise i'd expect to see more of a similar complaint.

Perfect every time
This is the 4th pair of mizunos I have brought for my husband. He is 6’2” and 230lbs, and these shoes hold up to his pounding. Vibrant colors, great fit and comfort, and very durable. Best running shoe for larger individuals. Great buy.

Bright and get dirty easy!!
These things appear to "Glow in the Dark" which is cool for working out, running etc. just realize they get as dirty (or dirtier) as whites but no bleach stick to spot clean, only water w/ very mild cleaner, air dry. So, stick to using these in the gym or if outdoors (where they are the most helpful...), use tracks that are concrete or some other type of hard surface. I love Mizuno golf wear but forgot how delicate they are for cleaning... Extremely comfortable!!! and would round-up about a 1/2 size for socks other than none or skin-tight.

A great shoe for workouts
I bought these because one of the best running-shoe review sites recommended them as shoes for workouts. I am very happy with them. They are comfortable, amazingly light, and yet provide good support. I had not worn Mizuno shoes before and the wave plate at first felt a bit odd under my feet -- not uncomfortable, just different. That sensation went away after just a few times wearing them; now I like the feel.

Great Shoes!
These shoes are great! I generally keep 3-4 pairs for running at a time and these are a nice addition. I was skeptical because I've never tried this brand and some brands don't fit my feet well at all (brooks for example). But these fit great! Not too much cushioning, lightweight and they are very comfortable. I put about 30 miles a week on them and I haven't had any structure or sole issues or any threads come undone so it's well made and holds up to my frame (6 ft, 250 pounds). I'm looking forward to trying more Mizuno's! I would definitely recommend giving these a shot.

Not the best changes .
A bit disappointed with this pair, have been buying waveriders for a while, this is the worst so far. Achilles notch taken out for some reason, and now it hits my Achilles and the fit has become poor. Bounce is not as good as previous editions. Becuase they don't last and you have to replace annually and price has yet again gone up, so expensive I would expect better. This colour of blue is a bit old fashioned, but that is my opinion others may like it.

Great support and comfort
A good well balanced trainer that takes a day or two to settle on the foot but then creates a great vision springboard

Muy cómodos
El zapato es más angosto y la suela un poco más dura en comparación con los Adidas. Me gustaron mucho.

Marathonschuh
Fast zu schnell wie Nike Pegasus Turbo 2.Passform etwas besser/breiter im Vorfuss.Im Vergleich ist das Obermaterial zu dick und zu schwer. Für mich eher für Langstrecke >HM+
