They didn't fit so snuggly that it made the mattress bow up and they are quite soft. You definitely need something to cover the mattress if you get the 2" replacement mattress. Review picture/website/amazon are all different max weights.** A: Mine says 5 months or 25 lbs whichever comes first, and I will tell that this is a great product!
