I really want a leather bound goddess/tree of life journal like this. This is a good idea but the quality is lacking a bit.Pros:1) I love writing on this type of paper. I like using Pilot G2 Bold gel pens on this type paper. It’s fun to write on with the right pen.2) It is a nice size and has lots of pages of paper.3) I like the image they used.Cons:1) The way the image is stamped on seems a bit cheap. It’s scuffed in some spots and not clear in others.2) The paper is kind of sloppily bound. I have other journals made like this but this is the first I’ve encountered with big awkward ties where it’s bound. There are 5 sections in this journal with big ties sticking out like shown in my photo.3) I’m a fan of nice quality leather. This is OK quality. It’s soft but just doesn’t feel great. It also stained the paper that it comes in contact with.4) The manufacturer put a big S on the inside of the cover.Conclusion: I’m going to return it. It’s close to what I wanted but not quite right.

I bought this journal with the woman/tree on cover and it’s beautiful! I just bought more for gifts! I write with ink fountain pens and the paper works very well with that. Delighted with this purchase!

This is a beautiful journal....the leather is soft and the cover of the tree of life is stunning HOWEVER the recycled paper is soft and very difficult to write on.
