Hot with lots of flavour
I've had several bottles of this when it's been available from Lidl in the past, so was pleased to find it on Amazon at a fair price. For a mainstream brand (Bulls Eye in the UK is made by Heinz), this is quite a punchy sauce. There is a noticeable garlic flavour, and then the burn from the Carolina Reaper chilli comes in - and it's quite hot. It's not "have you re-evaluating your life choices" hot, but it might take you off guard if you're not expecting it (not recommended for those who find things like Sriracha or Tabasco too hot). To my mind, it's got similar flavour characteristics to Sriracha - mainly chilli and garlic, and has a similar deep red colour. As such it works well in place of that, but it's much hotter than the standard Sriracha's. I didn't find it overly salty, sugary or vinegar dominant, just quite well balanced. Value wise, it's fine to me - the bottle is small, but it goes a long way. I'd buy it again.

Great to add a spicy kick to food, not a great taste
This Carolina Reaper sauce is effective in terms of making food spicier. While I can’t fault the product for tasting authentic to the actual pepper itself, it as a result doesn’t taste too great and should ideally be mixed in with other food rather than used on its own.

Do as I say, not as I do…
Let me paint a picture for you… I’m cutting weight ahead of a big sporting event next month. My diet is good, but pretty lacking on the wonderful flavour profiles I usually opt for…Long time lover of Frank’s hot sauce, so I wake up one day and decide to peruse Amazon for something low calorie with a little more… pizazz… to add to my repertoire.I hit the buy it now button, and thanks to Jeff Bezos and his army of underpaid workers it arrives on my doorstep within 24 hours. Eagerly I open it and have a sniff - great garlicky smell without too much of that telltale chilli whiff of ‘this is going to rearrange your guts, and not in a good way’“Perfect!” I think. I liberally apply it to a grilled chicken wrap I’ve prepared. I treat it like franks hot sauce in my application. Drenched is an understatement.First bite… “this is great, not too hot at all” I think. Then second bite, third and fourth follow, all the while I’m congratulating myself on being “proper hard” and having a spice tolerance that would make a chilli eating competition winner proud. Then… it hits. My tongue starts to feel like it’s been rubbed with sandpaper, my eyes water. I rush to the fridge for milk, but the milk does nothing. I eat one of my toddlers mini milks from the freezer - momentary relief but not lasting. After sitting for the next 10 minutes and considering why I am how I am, and wondering whether tongue removal is a viable at home option, the heat slowly subsides. So, but this hot and flavourful sauce, it’s genuinely great. But as the title says, don’t be an idiot and effectively drink a quarter of a bottle in one meal

Spicy!
Lovely hit of garlic and plenty of heat. Really nice sauce and great with nearly everything. Watch kids don't get it mixed up with the ketchup though...

Super hot
Go steady, this sauce is the real deal if you want it really hot. Good flavour as well. I was surprised at the quality as it's more of a 'commercial brand' than my regular hot sauce purchases.

Not bad. Ok taste. Not hot at all.
Smokey flavour. Quite pleasant. Nice on chicken wings and beef. Not hot per Se but has a little kick similar to Tobasco. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a real ‘hot sauce’ it’s not.

Fiery
Bull's-Eye Carolina Reaper Extra Hot Sauce is not for the faint of heart! As a self-proclaimed chili-head, I'm always on the hunt for the next level of heat, and this sauce delivers in spades. The Carolina Reaper peppers bring an intense, fiery kick that sets my taste buds ablaze in the best way possible. But it's not just about the heat – the flavor profile is robust and complex, with hints of smokiness and sweetness that balance out the intense spiciness. Whether I'm slathering it on wings, burgers, or even mixing it into dips, Bull's-Eye never fails to impress. If you're a heat seeker like me, this sauce is a must-try – just be prepared to feel the burn
