Adjustable base friendly
Purchased in the 10” encased coil queenThe GOOD:this mattress arrives in an incredibly small box. You can take the mattress out of the box and it won’t expand until you remove the plastic. The queen weighs 75lbs which is manageable for two people (or one strong person) to move upstairs. (Inside the box, it’s 83lbs)—medium firm density—encased coils means it’s silent (even for adult activity)—it sleeps surprisingly cooler than the memory foam mattress it replaced—works great on our solid adjustable base—can sleep to edges, MUCH better than our old memory foam mattress which had no edge support.—great back support at this price point, we are both tall (he’s 6’3/240) and it supports our weight easily.—no strange off-gassing or odor (we received our mattress in cool weather December, so warmer months might affect this issue)—it expands to full size within minutes of opening the plastic seal. The BAD:—motion transfer is felt by both parties. I’m a light sleeper and when my husband gets up, it does wake me. This is expected in a mattress at this price point, but I do think it’s fair to note. If you are sleeping alone, it’s a non issue.—I do think this mattress will require a solid base (box spring, etc) We are using adjustable base, but the mattress is only 10” thick, so slatted bases might not work as well for support.Bottom line: at this price point, we both feel this mattress is an exceptional buy. We both have back issues that were reduced significantly from using this mattress vs. our 7 year old 14” memory foam (which eventually turned into a giant marshmallow with zero support.) We have only had this new mattress 2 days and will update this review after some more time sleeping on it, but so far, we are both happy with it. I’m a side sleeper and he sleeps on his back or stomach.**if my review and photos were helpful to your purchase decision, please let me know by clicking “helpful” below**Disclaimer: We received a sample product through the Amazon Vine program for my honest and unbiased review.

Mattress too lopsided to be usable
Okay, so we unpacked the mattress and gave it well over a week to fully expand and it never evened out. One side was very thick and the other was lower... the photo doesn’t do it justice. When you laid down on it, it felt as though you were on the side of a hill and about to roll off the side. I was extremely disappointed as it’s unusable like this. That said, I feel as though if you got an even mattress it could be wonderful. It definitely has the potential to be a great mattress - if it was level. Unfortunately we received a defective one, whether it was a manufacturing mistake or an issue with packing that made it so lopsided.

No Warantee When Purchased on Amazon
I did not find out till I opened the box and read the inclosed instructions that this mattress is not covered by the warranty when purchased on Amazon (or eBay or any other third party, non-Sealy store) so in my opinion, that is vey misleading. If I had known that before purchasing it, I would not have done so. That information should very much be made known on the page that provides all the information about the product.

Great
The mattress arrived on time. It was vacuum-sealed and it expanded almost fully within the first hour (although I still waited a full 24 hours, just in case). The mattress ended up being a little firmer than I expected, which is great because it provides support without feeling like you’re sleeping on the floor. I guess I would subjectively say that it is Medium-firm. There were no weird smells or surprises, like I’d read about in other mattress company reviews. Overall, I’m very satisfied.

Consistent quality
I just got this thing. I know sealy to be a name that should at least have some consistency of quality. Well, I was right. So far, so good. Easy unboxing and setup. It unfolded in minutes from its compressed condition. It is a medium firmness...maybe towards the soft side...not plushy and squishy at all. The hybrid nature gives it a nice soft feel getting into bed and a decent medium support. Easy on and off the bed with no issues. I hurt my back last year pretty bad Never been the same since. It hurts to lie down anywhere, and this thing provides a good foundation for a good sleep.

Had Box Spring, Perfect Mattress
I had a box spring but the twenty-year plus mattress that sat on top had coil issues. The issues are that they now dug into my back and side. The price was right for this mattress. Plus, the description promised this was not another of those latex-like mattresses that are too hot and just feel like I'm sleeping on an uncomfortable mat that belongs on the floor of a tent. The mattress lived up to its description. It easily unfolded to full size and the mattress is thick and comfortable . . . and yes it has coils.

Great value, just what we wanted, no regrets!
My partner and I purchased this mattress to replace an aging memory foam mattress. I was hesitant to buy a mattress without testing it first, but between work schedules and COVID restrictions, it didn't make sense to shop around locally. I did my research and I don't regret it.The mattress is very nice and firm, but not TOO firm to the point where it's hard. Just enough to provide good support. It was not too difficult to lug the thing upstairs, although we did discover that as we were opening the mattress from its vacuum-sealed bag and it rapidly began to expand...we had it upside down! Oops. Took a bit of wrestling to get it the right way around, so if you're able, figure out which side is up BEFORE you unseal it and it starts to expand. It did expand very quickly, with no issues, and no strange smells. We unpacked it in the early afternoon and slept on it that night with no problem.I'm not sure what a comparable mattress would cost in a store, but I can't imagine it would be much cheaper. I like that it's a recognizable brand name, too.One last note: it is definitely on the firmer side of medium-firm, so some people may want a padded mattress topper for a little extra cushioning. We chose not to go that way yet, but it is a consideration--if you're really skinny and you have issues with your hip bones bruising your skin (I might end up there soon) this will definitely need a topper because it is firm enough to bruise you.
